For example, patients with mumps may have orchitis, presenting with testicular pain and swelling; gonorrhea is the sexually transmitted disease with the highest incidence rate at present, and it can cause orchitis in severe cases; chronic prostatitis can also cause testicular pain, which manifests as unilateral pain, mostly dull pain or pulling pain, and is continuous. Testicular changes

Testicular changes are one of the common acute symptoms in the scrotum. They can occur in people from birth to 70 years old, and 65% occur between the ages of 12 and 19. Usually, there is vigorous exercise a few hours before the onset of the disease, or the testicles have been subjected to external force. Sudden onset of severe testicular pain during sleep or rest is the first symptom of this disease and one of its main diagnostic bases. Some patients also have nausea and vomiting, scrotal swelling, and obvious tenderness. It is generally believed that for those who are treated within 6 hours of testicular changes, the testicular rescue rate can reach 80%, and for those who are treated after 24 hours, the rescue rate is only 20%. At this time, even if the testicle can be preserved, the function of the affected testicle is often damaged.

Testicular rupture

The testicles are more mobile in the scrotum and are protected by a tough white membrane. The chance of closure rupture is relatively small. Testicular rupture is mostly related to violence, car accidents, etc. After injury, the testicles are in severe pain accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and even fainting or shock. During physical examination, there are swollen testicles, unclear contours or scrotal congestion, and obvious tenderness. B-ultrasound and CT are not only helpful for the diagnosis of this disease, but also can understand the location and extent of testicular rupture. The treatment principles of testicular rupture are first calming, analgesia, and anti-shock, followed by judging the degree of testicular rupture, and then accepting different treatment methods.

Testicular ischemic pain

Testicular ischemic pain is more common in the elderly. The pain is more severe, aggravated by exercise, and relieved by rest. The prostate fluid microscopy is normal. It is often due to stenosis of the testicular artery. Testicular artery atherosclerosis is often a partial manifestation of systemic vascular disease, mostly unilateral lesions, more common on the left side than on the right side.
