How to Treat Varicose Vesicles

How to Treat Varicose Vesicles

Maybe you don’t know much about diseases like varicocele. Varicose veins are a male disease. There are many reasons for the occurrence of varicocele. We recommend that male friends should do a good job in preventing varicocele. Once suffering from varicocele, it is easy to cause sexual problems and even infertility symptoms. Below we introduce the treatment methods of varicocele.

Varicose veins (VC) are common male urogenital diseases and the main cause of male infertility. It is more common in young men, with an incidence rate of 10% to 15% in the normal male population and 19% to 41% in male infertility. Varicose veins are vascular spermatogenesis disorders caused by the dilation of the spermatic veins and the varicocele that surround the spermatic cord. The disease is more common on the left side, but it can also occur bilaterally or only on the right side. Traditional surgery uses an inguinal incision, high ligation of the internal spermatic vein, and removal of part of the dilated vein in the scrotum.

Surgery is the main treatment method and can achieve ideal therapeutic effects. Some patients also use (or combine with) drug therapy.

First, secondary factors such as renal tumor, hydronephrosis, retroperitoneal tumor, and ectopic blood vessels should be ruled out.

Primary VC accompanied by infertility or semen abnormalities are treatment indications regardless of the severity of symptoms. Currently, surgical treatments include high ligation of the internal spermatic vein through the inguinal canal, laparoscopic surgery, high ligation of the internal spermatic vein through the retroperitoneum, and interventional embolization of the spermatic vein. Compared with inguinal canal surgery and laparoscopic surgery, high ligation of the spermatic vein through the retroperitoneum has the advantages of less surgical trauma, less damage to other blood vessels, less chance of missing the spermatic vein, shorter operation time, lower surgical costs, fewer postoperative complications, and lower recurrence rate. It is the preferred treatment for unilateral varicocele.

The improvement of semen parameters and pregnancy rate in patients treated with surgery combined with medication were significantly better than those treated with surgery alone.

In the above article, we introduced a male disease, that is, varicocele. We know that varicocele has a wide range of hazards and is very harmful. However, we can use the methods introduced above to treat varicocele.
