White discharge when the penis is squeezed

White discharge when the penis is squeezed

White discharge when squeezing the penis is a health problem for many men. There are many reasons for this health problem, and the most common one is urinary tract infection. Urinary tract infection needs to be treated in time, and there are many ways to treat urinary tract infection. Here are some treatment methods for urinary tract infection!

1. General treatment

(1) During the acute phase, the patient needs to rest in bed and be encouraged to drink plenty of water to increase urine output. Girls should also pay attention to the cleanliness of their vulva.

(2) Encourage the child to eat and provide sufficient calories, rich protein and vitamins to enhance the body's resistance.

(3) Symptomatic treatment: Children with high fever, headache, and back pain should be given antipyretic pillows to relieve symptoms. For those with obvious urinary tract irritation symptoms, they can be treated with anticholesterol drugs such as atropine and scopolamine, or oral sodium bicarbonate to reduce urine irritation symptoms.

2. Antimicrobial drug treatment

Principles for selecting antibiotics: ① Site of infection: For pyelonephritis, drugs with high blood concentrations should be selected, and for cystitis, drugs with high urine concentrations should be selected. ② Route of infection: For people with ascending infection, sulfonamide drugs are the first choice for treatment. If systemic symptoms such as fever are obvious or it is a blood-borne infection, penicillins, aminoglycosides or cephalosporins are often used alone or in combination for treatment. ③ Antibiotics are selected based on the results of urine culture and drug sensitivity tests, combined with clinical efficacy. ④ The drug should have a high concentration in renal tissue, urine, and blood. ⑤ The selected drug has strong antibacterial ability and a broad antibacterial spectrum. It is best to use a strong bactericidal agent, and it is not easy for bacteria to produce drug-resistant strains. ⑥ Drugs that cause little damage to kidney function.

(1) Treatment of symptomatic UTI: For simple UTI, after urine bacterial culture, the first choice for initial treatment is sulfamethoxazole (SMZCo), calculated as SMZ 50 mg/(kg.d) and TMP 10 mg/(kg.d), taken orally in 2 doses for 7 to 10 days. Antibacterial drugs will be selected after the urine bacterial culture results are available and the drug sensitivity test results are available.

(2) Treatment of asymptomatic bacteriuria: Asymptomatic bacteriuria alone generally does not require treatment. However, if there is urinary tract obstruction, VUR or other urinary tract malformations, or if there are old scars on the kidneys due to previous infections, the above-mentioned antibacterial drugs should be actively used for treatment. The course of treatment is 7 to 14 days, followed by small doses of antibacterial drugs for prevention until the urinary tract is corrected.

(3) Treatment of recurrent UTI: There are two types of recurrent UTI, namely recurrence and reinfection. Recurrence means that the bacteria of the original infection are not completely killed, and the bacteria reproduce again in a suitable environment. Most children relapse within 1 month after treatment. Recurrence means that the last infection has been cured, and this time the UTI is caused by different bacteria or strains. Recurrence is more common in girls. It usually occurs within 6 months after stopping medication.

3. Local treatment of UTI

Intravesical instillation of medication is often used to treat patients with intractable chronic cystitis who have failed to respond to systemic medication.
