How do you know you have impotence?

In life, many men suffer from male diseases, but they don't know it themselves. For example, when they have impotence, some men don't even know whether they have impotence. In fact, impotence is particularly easy to judge. When receiving sexual stimulation, the penis does not erect, which is impotence. Impotence can easily lead to premature ejaculation in men. So how can you know if you have impotence?

What are the symptoms of impotence? We asked experts to explain this question to you. The symptoms of male impotence are as follows:

1. A man can have an erection when he is sexually excited, but the erection disappears when he tries to have sex.

2. Men cannot have an erection or engage in sexual intercourse under any circumstances, which hinders normal sexual life and affects fertility.

3. Men cannot have an erection only when they are sexually aroused, but they can have spontaneous erections (such as erections in dreams or when their bladder is full).

The National Standard of the Impotence Society divides impotence into types I, II, III, and IV:

Type I: Males under 20 years old who are unable to have a normal first sexual intercourse and maintain a sufficient erection are called primary impotence, accounting for about 13% of the total. The causes are family discord, mental trauma, religious conversion, homosexuality, a history of "traumatic" sexual intercourse for the first time, and often highly uneasy and anxious. This type is difficult to treat.

Type II: Men aged 20-35, who are physically and mentally too nervous during their honeymoon and cannot stop having sex; sometimes they have a history of masturbation, have abnormal ghost erections in the morning, and have excessive sexual desire. The cure rate of this group is over 95%.

Type III: Men aged 40-45, who are unable to arouse sexual desire, arousal and passion under any circumstances. Morning erections of this type are actually weakened, and masturbation will reduce them. They should be punctual and take advantage of their spouse's response and cooperation. The cure rate of this group is over 60%-80%.

Type IV: Between 50 and 70 years old, they have experienced major stimulation such as the death of a spouse, divorce, or a history of reproductive and urinary system surgery, which has led to erectile dysfunction and decreased libido. Among acute patients, impotence caused by atherosclerosis, diabetes, alcoholism, drug poisoning, etc. is cured in 50%-70%.

What kind of examination should men undergo if they suffer from impotence?

1. Cardiovascular function examination: This examination can understand the patient's myocardial oxygen consumption, cardiac output, effective circulating blood volume, blood viscosity, vascular elasticity coefficient, and total peripheral resistance, helping to diagnose vascular impotence.

2. Laboratory examination: This is a very important examination method, which includes multiple examination items and is of diagnostic significance for the detection of erectile dysfunction caused by diabetes, abnormal blood lipid metabolism, and chronic liver and kidney diseases.

3. Sex hormone level measurement: Since the level of testosterone, the male hormone, has a certain impact on erectile function and sexual desire, testing hormone levels is helpful for the diagnosis of endocrine impotence. Be careful!

Psychological problems may also cause male impotence

1. Lack of self-confidence: Men with impotence often lack self-confidence, are filled with depression and inferiority, and feel guilty towards their sexual partners.

2. Disharmony between husband and wife: The relationship between the husband and wife is disharmonious, he is afraid of and hates his wife, and his sex life is difficult to be harmonious.

3. Lack of sexual knowledge: Some male patients know too little about sex and regard sex as dirty and sinful. Because their sexual concepts conflict with norms, they often have a fear of sex.
