In modern life, balanitis is very common, but it troubles many men. When the foreskin is inflamed, it will be itchy, red, swollen and painful. It is caused by the foreskin being too long, dirt often hidden in the foreskin, and unhygienic sex life, which leads to bacterial infection and other inflammation. If the foreskin is inflamed, you can stop having sex and buy some flushing medicine at the pharmacy. Or you can choose to go to a regular hospital for circumcision. Pay attention to developing good hygiene habits.
It is a disease of the glans foreskin with the highest incidence. Almost all patients have phimosis or prepuce that is too long. Between the glans and the long foreskin, a warm and moist bacterial culture medium is formed due to the shedding of epithelial cells, glandular secretions and smegma bacteria. Once bacteria enter, they can cause inflammation. Question 2 It can be divided into the following categories: 1. Pseudoepitheliomatous balanoposthitis 1. The skin lesions are hyperkeratotic or infiltrative and hypertrophic, with mica-like crusts. The affected area has poor elasticity and shows atrophic changes over time. 2. Tissue pathological changes: Hyperkeratosis with pseudo-epithelioma-like hyperplasia. Infiltration of dermal inflammatory cells. Attention should be paid to local cleaning and avoid various irritations. 2. Candidal balanitis 1. Skin lesions present as erythema, papules or papulorum, followed by flaky erosions, with white dot-like cheesy secretions attached to the surface, which can be easily scraped off. 2. It can be primary or secondary to diabetes or long-term antibiotics or corticosteroids. The patient's spouse may have candidal vaginitis. 3. Candida can be seen in fungal microscopy and culture of local secretions. 3. Superficial balanitis 1. Skin damage is local erythema, swelling, erosion, exudation, and blisters may appear in severe cases.2. It is often caused by local friction and poor rotation of the foreskin. External medications such as condom allergy can also cause acute inflammation of the glans foreskin. 3. This type should be distinguished from fixed drug eruption. The latter has a history of taking medicine. The skin lesions are initially round or oval bright red spots, which later become purple spots with clear borders, and gradually exude, erode or superficial ulcers.
1. Initially, there is local flushing, redness and swelling of the penis skin, burning and itching of the glans penis. When the foreskin is turned back, congestion and erosion can be seen, with exudate and even bleeding. After secondary infection, small ulcers and milky white foul-smelling secretions can be seen. 2. In the early stage of glans phimitis, the glans and foreskin surface are edematous and congested. The area around the urethral opening is red and wounds and erosions appear, which may develop into superficial ulcers with purulent secretions. The patient will feel itching or burning in the glans penis, followed by pain. After erosion, pus may flow and have a foul odor. In severe cases, there will also be fatigue, low fever, enlarged and tender inguinal lymph nodes. |
