What causes pain under the armpit in men?

There are many reasons for armpit pain, including fatigue, muscle or soft tissue injury, or enlarged lymph nodes caused by other diseases.

1. Get cool

As the saying goes, "pain is caused by blockage, and no pain if the blood is flowing smoothly." Qi stagnation and blood stasis are another major cause of armpit pain. If the human body is exposed to cold for a long time, armpit pain will also occur. In addition, excessive fatigue may also cause qi stagnation and blood stasis, and qi and blood blockage, thus causing pain symptoms.

2. Neurosis

A large number of studies have found that most patients with neuritis have a history of vaccination and cold exposure before the disease. Usually, people who are prone to neuritis are mostly young people. In the early stages of the disease, the pain is mostly located at the base of the neck, supraclavicular fossa or shoulder on one side, and the pain is mainly burning and tingling, and this pain is intermittent.

As time goes by, the pain caused by neuritis will intensify and may also spread to the upper arm, forearm and hand on the same side. When the upper limb is abducted or raised, the pain in the armpit will be more obvious.

3. Breast hyperplasia

Like women, men also have the problem of breast hyperplasia. The cause of the disease is similar to that of women, mainly due to endocrine disorders caused by liver disease or drug factors, which cause imbalance of hormone concentration in the blood, thus leading to breast hyperplasia. However, compared with men, the probability of women suffering from breast hyperplasia is much higher.

If the armpit pain is caused by breast hyperplasia, it is characterized by bloating and tingling, and may even affect one or both breasts. If the condition is more serious, the affected area should not be touched easily, and it may also affect normal life and work. The pain is mainly in the breast lump, and it may also radiate to the armpit, chest, or shoulder and back on the affected side.
