Because soaking feet in pepper water can clear water channels, dispel cold, and help digestion, and there is also sweating in the process, so it has a "dry" feeling like other Yang-tonifying medicines. Especially for people with Yin deficiency symptoms, soaking feet in pepper water should be combined with replenishing Yin, otherwise it will aggravate the symptoms of Yin deficiency.
