Causes of male infertility

Causes of male infertility

In modern society, with the continuous increase of men's social life pressure, many men suffer from infertility, which has become an unspeakable hidden pain for men. Male infertility makes the family lose the opportunity to have a baby. The impact of male infertility on the family is very large. What are the causes of male infertility? Five major factors cause male infertility.

1. Abnormalities in male semen

Semen abnormality is a very key cause of male infertility, including no sperm, oligospermia, asthenospermia, ejaculation bleeding, abnormal sperm and dead sperm, especially oligospermia, asthenospermia, dead sperm and hematospermia. Infertility caused by this kind of reasons is more difficult to treat.

2. Obstacles to male sperm production

Factors such as varicose veins, congenital testicular malformation, cryptorchidism, orchitis or testicular atrophy, endocrine diseases, etc. can all lead to reduced sperm density, reduced sperm motility, or sperm deformity, resulting in infertility. Infertility caused by these reasons is also difficult to treat.

3. Men encounter obstacles in sperm delivery

Infertility can also occur when a man's sperm transport is blocked. For example, epididymal cysts, diseases of the ejaculatory duct, vas deferens and urethral opening can lead to obstruction of sperm transport. In clinical medicine, it is usually manifested as obstructive azoospermia, which directly affects male pregnancy. The key to treating infertility caused by this condition is to restore the ejaculatory duct's ability to transport sperm. Compared with the previous two causes of infertility, this type of treatment has a greater chance of success.

4. Male ejaculation disorder

Such as erectile dysfunction, external genital diseases, trauma, even unable to have sex, or premature ejaculation, reverse ejaculation, etc., the semen cannot enter the female reproductive system and cannot form a fetus. Infertility caused by these reasons can be improved as long as it is actively treated.

5. Other factors

In addition to the above key factors, male infertility is also caused by immune system disease factors, pathological factors, such as excessive sperm antigenicity, seminal vesiculitis, prostatitis, abnormal prostaglandins, long-term smoking, alcoholism, etc. Infertility caused by this kind of reasons can usually be improved if the cause is eliminated.

What are the causes of male infertility? The above five reasons are the causes of male infertility. If they are treated actively and proactively, many male infertility can be improved. Everyone must actively treat it and never lose confidence.
