Seminal vesiculitis is a disease caused by bacterial infection, which poses a great threat to the patient's health. Many men have been troubled by diseases such as seminal vesiculitis, but they have never been able to completely cure it. In fact, the occurrence of diseases such as seminal vesiculitis is related to many factors, and treatment based on the cause can achieve good results. Let's follow the editor to understand the causes and symptoms of seminal vesiculitis. Causes There are three main ways of infection of seminal vesiculitis: 1. Ascending infection That is, the bacteria spread upward through the urethra and ejaculatory duct to the seminal vesicle. 2. Lymphatic infection That is, inflammation of the urogenital tract or intestinal tract may infect the seminal vesicles through the lymphatic pathway. 3. Bloodstream infection That is, pathogens from an infected lesion in other parts of the body circulate through the blood to the seminal vesicle. Since the seminal vesicle has many mucosal folds and tortuosity anatomically, secretions are easily accumulated, resulting in poor drainage. If the acute inflammation is not completely controlled, it can easily turn into chronic seminal vesiculitis. 2 Clinical manifestations Seminal vesiculitis is one of the common infectious diseases in men. The onset age is mostly between 20 and 40 years old. Hematospermia is the main clinical manifestation. However, it can be acute or chronic. The individual differences are large and the clinical manifestations are not exactly the same. 1. Pain Acute cases may cause pain in the lower abdomen, involving the perineum and the inguinal cleft on both sides. Chronic cases may cause dull pain in the upper pubic area, accompanied by discomfort in the perineum. The pain symptoms are significantly aggravated during ejaculation. 2. Frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating Acute cases have obvious symptoms of urinary urgency and pain during urination, and dysuria. Chronic cases have obvious symptoms of frequent urination, urgency, discomfort during urination, and a burning sensation. 3. Hematospermia Symptoms include discharge of blood in semen during ejaculation, and the semen is pink or red or contains blood clots. In acute cases, the phenomenon of blood in semen is more obvious. Diseases such as seminal vesiculitis can be divided into acute and chronic types. Some patients with acute seminal vesiculitis will have fever symptoms. Some patients with more serious seminal vesiculitis will also have hematuria. At the same time, seminal vesiculitis is also complementary to some diseases, the most common of which is prostatitis. |
