Since prostatic fluid is another important component of semen, the prostate is congested and exudes due to inflammation; frequent sexual intercourse causes capillary rupture; and the strong contraction and relaxation of prostatic fluid during ejaculation can cause blood in the prostatic fluid, and then the semen is also stained with blood. Similar to the situation of chronic prostatitis, prostatic hyperplasia can also cause hematospermia.
