I have never paid much attention to any problems with my body. Last week, when my wife and I were having sex, I found that the color of my semen was a little abnormal. It felt darker than before, and there was even a little blood in it. I don't know what's going on, and whether this will harm my body? Blood in semen is medically called hematospermia, and most of the cases are caused by seminal vesiculitis. We know that in the posterior urethra of the human body, behind the prostate, there grows a pair of tubular glandular tissues called seminal vesicles. The seminal vesicles are connected to the posterior urethra through the ejaculatory duct. Since the walls of the seminal vesicles are thin, once they become inflamed and congested, or if there are lesions such as stones, the walls of the vesicles filled with blood vessels are prone to bleeding. The secretion of the seminal vesicles is one of the main components of semen. If the bleeding of the seminal vesicles makes the secretion stained with blood, and if it is discharged from the body along with the semen, hematospermia occurs. Because the seminal vesicle and the prostate are closely adjacent in anatomy, these two organs are often a pair of brothers in distress when they become inflamed, that is, seminal vesiculitis often occurs simultaneously with chronic prostatitis. Chronic prostatitis can also cause hematospermia. Its mechanism is similar to that of seminal vesiculitis. Since prostatic fluid is another important component of semen, the prostate is congested and exudes due to inflammation; frequent sexual intercourse causes capillary rupture; and the strong contraction and relaxation of prostatic fluid during ejaculation can cause blood in the prostatic fluid, and then the semen is also stained with blood. Similar to the situation of chronic prostatitis, prostatic hyperplasia can also cause hematospermia. If it is confirmed that the hematospermia is caused by seminal vesiculitis or chronic prostatitis, in addition to antibiotic treatment, it is also necessary to add hemostatic drugs, usually Anvoxil and vitamin 1t intramuscular injection or oral treatment. Those who have hematospermia caused by prostatic hyperplasia can also use these two drugs to stop bleeding. It is worth noting that hematospermia caused by chronic prostatitis or seminal vesiculitis is often related to excessive sexual intercourse or rough movements. Therefore, if hematospermia occurs, sexual intercourse should be suspended. The bleeding will usually disappear quickly after hemostatic treatment. In addition, the causes of hematospermia include spermatocyst, tuberculosis, tumor, schistosomiasis, portal hypertension, systemic blood system diseases, etc. Although they are rare, they should not be ignored. Therefore, if hematospermia occurs, you should go to the hospital for examination and do not take it lightly. Many men have experienced your situation. In fact, if it is discovered in time, there will be no major problems. However, if you do not seek medical treatment in time, there will still be major problems, and even affect fertility, so you must pay attention to this problem. In addition, you must pay attention to your physical health in normal times, so that you can avoid such diseases. |
