White fat particles on the scrotum

White fat particles on the scrotum

There are white fat particles on the scrotum. This disease is likely caused by scrotal eczema. Scrotal eczema is also a disease that male patients need to pay attention to, because if it is not treated in time, more eczema may appear in the scrotum, which will have a greater impact on the health of the male scrotum and even the health of the entire private parts. Below, I will introduce you to the relevant knowledge of scrotal eczema!

1. Clinical manifestations of scrotal eczema

1. Acute scrotal eczema is mainly manifested by diffuse redness, swelling, and severe itching of the scrotal skin. Many papules and blisters ranging in size from needles to rice grains may appear at the same time. After scratching or rubbing, the erythema, papules, and blisters rupture, revealing large areas of moist erosion, with a large amount of light yellow slurry exuding, part of which condenses into pairs of light yellow scabs. Generally, after 2-3 weeks, the redness and swelling will be reduced, the exudate will decrease, and it will gradually heal completely, but it is easy to relapse.

2. Subacute scrotal eczema is a transformation from acute scrotal eczema, characterized by mild thickening and mild erosion of the scrotal skin, more scaling, little exudate, and still severe itching.

3. If subacute scrotal eczema is not treated in time, it will be delayed for a long time or recur repeatedly, which may turn into chronic scrotal eczema. The scrotal skin gradually becomes thicker and rougher, dark red or gray-brown, with enlarged wrinkles and walnut shell shape, and scales attached. During the course of the disease, it may cause erosion, exudation and other symptoms of acute or subacute scrotal eczema due to severe itching and scratching.

2. How to quickly recover from scrotal eczema?

1. Drug treatment

Since scrotal eczema is related to allergies like eczema in other parts of the body, the drugs used to treat allergies can be used to treat scrotal eczema. For example, some commonly used antihistamines include cyproheptadine, chlorpheniramine, deschlorpromazine, and astemizole. Topical drugs are mainly some weak corticosteroid ointments.

2. Scrotal care

Avoid re-irritating the area, avoid scratching the area with your hands as much as possible, do not use hot water or soapy water to clean the area, and do not apply strongly irritating drugs on the area. Pay special attention to not applying hormone drugs on the area casually, as these can easily make the disease worse or recur. Avoid eating some irritating foods, such as onions, ginger, garlic, strong tea, coffee, alcohol and other foods that are prone to cause allergies, such as fish, shrimp and other seafood.

3. Is scrotal eczema contagious?

The so-called scrotal eczema is eczema that occurs in the genital area, but it has nothing to do with sexually transmitted diseases and is not an infectious disease. Scrotal eczema is a delayed skin disease caused by the interaction of internal and external factors. Generally, people with allergic constitutions are susceptible to this disease. However, people with long-term mental tension and mood swings are also susceptible to this disease. In addition, people with some diseases, such as chronic digestive system diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine disorders, and metabolic disorders are also susceptible to scrotal eczema. There are also some external factors that can also trigger this disease. Patients do not need to worry too much about whether scrotal eczema is contagious, because it is not contagious.
