Standard weight for boys 1.65 meters tall

Standard weight for boys 1.65 meters tall

The standard weight for men is height minus 80, then multiply by 70% to calculate the weight of men. Women's weight is lower than men's, so we should measure our height before calculating the standard weight of men. The standard weight of a 1.65 meter tall boy is generally around 109 kilograms. If the weight exceeds this, it is a symptom of obesity and needs to be reduced in a reasonable way.

The standard weight should be 109 catties.

WHO calculation method

Male: (height cm-80) × 70﹪ = standard weight Female: (height cm-70) × 60﹪ = standard weight

Normal weight is within plus or minus 10% of standard weight

The standard weight is plus or minus 10% to 20% for overweight or underweight

A standard weight of plus or minus 20% or more is considered obese or underweight

Overweight calculation formula

Overweight% = [(actual weight - ideal weight) / (ideal weight)] × 100%

Different age algorithms

Standard weight method

Standard weight (kg) = age x 2 + 8 (7 - 16 years old)

Mild obesity: 20% - 30% above standard body weight

Moderate obesity: 40% - 50% above standard body weight

Severe obesity: more than 50% above the standard body weight

BMI method

Body Mass Index (BMI) = Weight (kg) / Height (m) squared, i.e. kg/m2

Age BMI value

Age Normal Overweight Mildly obese Moderately obese Severely obese

Under 6 years old 15-18 18-

6- 11 years old 16-19 19-21 21-23 23-27 27-

Simple calculation method

1. Calculation method 1:

Body mass index = weight (kg) ÷ height (m) squared kg/m^2

Formula: BMI = weight / (height)^2

Normal weight: Body mass index = 18.5 - 25 (Chinese physical fitness standard: normal range 18.5~23.9, overweight 24.0~27.9, obesity ≥28.0)

Overweight: BMI = 25 - 30

Mild obesity: BMI> 30

Moderate obesity: BMI > 35

Severe obesity: BMI > 40

2. Calculation method 2:

Standard weight = height (m) × height (m) × standard coefficient (20 for women, 22 for men)

Normal weight is within plus or minus 10% of standard weight

The standard weight is plus or minus 10% to 20% is considered overweight or underweight

A standard weight of plus or minus 20% or more is considered obese or underweight

3. Calculation method three:

Standard weight (kg) = height (cm) - 105

For example, for a man who is 170 cm tall, his standard weight should be: 170 (cm) - 105 = 65 (kg). Anyone who is 10% above the standard weight is considered overweight, and anyone who is 20% above the standard weight is considered obese; anyone who is 10% below the standard weight is considered underweight, and anyone who is 20% below the standard weight is considered underweight.

Note: The above calculation method is only applicable to adults. It is not applicable to children, the elderly, or people who are too short.

Causes of obesity in men

1. Drinking too much

Many men drink alcohol, either for work or personal preference. Drinking too much alcohol, especially beer, can lead to obesity, which is why we often say "beer belly".

2. Lack of exercise

Some men work in offices and often sit all day, which means they don’t get enough exercise. They often drive when they go out, which further reduces their chances of exercising.

3. Unreasonable diet

Many men often attend social events or parties, and they tend to consume too much fat or eat too much. They may not pay attention to whether their diet is healthy, often eat high-calorie foods, and have the habit of eating supper and snacks.

Weight loss methods for men

1. Keep exercising

Although many men are very busy at work, they still need to take time out to exercise. You can choose daily exercise or go to the gym. You can also take the stairs, walk, or ride a bike more often to achieve the effect of exercise. And exercise can also be a way to relax after work.

2. Eat a healthy diet

Sometimes you may not be able to control your diet due to work. But if you can choose, you should pay attention to balanced nutrition, light diet, and regular diet.

3. Develop good living habits

To lose weight, you also need to develop good living habits, avoid excessive drinking, and have a regular schedule. If you are under too much stress, you need to find the right way to relax and keep a happy mood.
