The male reproductive organs are also very fragile, so male friends should also pay attention to the protection of their reproductive organs in daily life, otherwise reproductive organ diseases will affect the normal sexual function of men and even infect their sexual partners. If men do not pay attention to reproductive organ hygiene, they are prone to glans foreskin problems. So if a man finds that many blisters grow on his foreskin, accompanied by itching, what disease is it?

What is the cause of blisters on the foreskin? Blisters on the foreskin are likely caused by balanitis or genital herpes:

1. Genital herpes. If there is a history of unclean sexual contact, genital herpes cannot be ruled out. It is well known that genital herpes is a sexually transmitted disease caused by herpes simplex virus infection. The main manifestation is a burning sensation in the affected area, erythema, and soon clusters of small blisters on the surface of the erythema, which become small pustules after a few days. After rupturing, erosions and shallow ulcers are formed, and the local area is red and swollen, with itching or pain. In recent years, small blisters on the foreskin and glans have also become the early symptoms of HPV (condyloma acuminatum) in clinical practice.

2. Balanitis. Balanitis is a common urinary and reproductive infection. The disease starts with skin flushing, then small spots appear, and as the inflammation progresses, it turns into small blisters. The blisters rupture and become ulcers and erythema. There may also be a burning sensation during urination, and purulent secretions flow out of the urethra. If the foreskin is turned over, the inner plate of the foreskin and the glans penis can be seen to be congested and swollen. In severe cases, there may be shallow ulcers or erosions, with pus. Balanitis must be treated promptly.

If male friends have blisters on their foreskin, they must take it seriously. It is best to go to a professional andrology hospital for a detailed examination and receive timely treatment after the cause is determined.
