Acne on the glans penis

Acne on the glans penis

Some men may find some small pimples and small particles under the glans. These small particles are very small and are located under the glans. In fact, under normal circumstances, men will have some small papules under the glans. This is not a symptom, but a normal phenomenon. The small papules are similar to white particles and look like acne. Most of them are caused by foreskin being too long.

This condition occurs in men after puberty and is completely normal. No treatment is required and there is no need to panic. However, some places mistake this phenomenon for emphysema and treat it with laser treatment and medication, which is wrong.

Pearly papules are the size of a needle tip, not red, not swollen, not painful, not itchy, arranged in one or several rows, mostly on the posterior edge of the glans penis and the coronal sulcus. It is a normal physiological variation of the male penis skin, just like a mole on the skin. No treatment is required.

This disease may be a physiological developmental variation, and is neither a tumor nor a sexually transmitted disease. Clinically, it manifests as white, skin-colored or light red papules that do not fuse with each other and are arranged in one or several rows along the coronal groove at the posterior edge of the glans penis. It is commonly known as "glans pearl stain". In medicine, it is named pearly penile papulosis. Medical experts have confirmed through pathological sections that its structure is normal connective tissue hyperplasia.

This is a common disease in males after puberty. Because it is painless and itchy, patients often do not know about it and discover it by chance. It is more common in young people aged 20-50. There are no conscious symptoms. Patients are mainly between 20 and 40 years old.

This disease is more common in people with prepuce that is too long, and may be related to the irritation of local secretions and smegma.

Western medicine does not require treatment. Electrolysis or laser treatment can be used if necessary.

Traditional Chinese medicine treatment: 1. Internal treatment: Clear away heat and dampness, desensitize and stop itching. Anti-inflammatory and diuretic prescription with additions and subtractions: Gentiana 10g, Dictamni 15g, dried Rehmannia glutinosa 30g, Akebia 6g, and Honeysuckle 10g. Decoction.

2. External treatment: 10g each of Phellodendron chinense, wild chrysanthemum and licorice, decoct in water and soak. Dilute and rinse with Jieeryin, Jieshenchun and Shenzi washing agent. Prevention and maintenance: Develop good hygiene habits and pay attention to the cleanliness of the glans.
