Many men are troubled and worried about whether they will have sequelae after circumcision, because after all, this operation is performed in a relatively private part. In fact, the current circumcision technology is relatively advanced. If it is performed in a regular hospital, it generally does not cause any adverse effects. However, if you do not pay attention to care and infection or bleeding occurs, the harm caused will be relatively large. 1. Improper circumcision: If the circumcision is too much, the penis erection will be affected after the operation. In severe cases, skin grafting can be performed to correct it. If the circumcision is too little, the foreskin will still cover the glans penis after the operation. If the foreskin is turned upward without any difficulty, it can be turned over and cleaned frequently; if it is still not turned over satisfactorily or the infection still occurs repeatedly, circumcision can be performed again. 2. Infection: Failure to effectively control inflammation of the foreskin and glans penis before surgery, mistaken circumcision for those with incarcerated foreskin, lack of attention to aseptic operation or rough surgical operation, urine contamination of the wound after surgery, etc. can all lead to wound infection. After infection occurs, some sutures should be removed to allow drainage, bed rest, and antibacterial drugs should be used. 3. Bleeding: It is mostly caused by incomplete hemostasis during surgery or loose ligature. Bleeding often occurs in the superficial dorsal vein of the penis and the frenulum of the prepuce. Bleeding from the superficial dorsal vein of the penis is prone to form hematomas, and bleeding from the frenulum of the prepuce often results in blood flowing out of the wound, and may also form hematomas under the skin. If this symptom occurs, you should seek medical attention immediately. 4. Edema of the frenulum: Too much skin is left at the frenulum, the bandage is too tight, standing or walking for too long on the day after the operation, etc. If edema of the frenulum occurs, the bandage should be loosened, the glans penis should be moved to the side of the abdomen, and supported with a T-belt. Antibacterial drugs should be used to prevent infection, and physical therapy should be performed. |
