How to use Priligy

Priligy is a dark gray plastic film sugar-coated tablet, which is milky white or quasi-milky white after removing the film coating. The key ingredient is dapoxetine hydrochloride. (S)-N, N-dimethyl-3-(naphthyl-1-oxy)-1-phenylpropan-1-amine hydrochloride; dapoxetine hydrochloride ((S)-( )-N, N-dimethyl-3-(1-naphthyloxy) amphetamine hydrochloride). So, what are the methods of using Priligy?

After oral administration, Priligy is rapidly absorbed and reaches a maximum blood concentration (Cmax) in about 1-2 hours. The absolute solubility of Priligy is 42% (range 15-76%). Priligy is suitable for the treatment of male premature ejaculation (PE) patients aged 18 to 64 who meet all of the following criteria: persistent or repeated ejaculation before, during or shortly after vaginal penetration, and only with minimal sexual excitement before sexual desire; Priligy is used for significant personal distress or interpersonal difficulties caused by premature ejaculation (PE); poor ejaculation control ability.

Taking Priligy with a high-fat diet can slightly reduce the Cmax of dapoxetine (10%) and slightly increase the AUC (12%). Priligy can also slightly delay the time for dapoxetine to reach the peak concentration. Priligy will not affect the degree of absorption when taking a high-fat diet. This change has no clinical manifestations. Priligy can be taken with or without meals. After taking 30mg and 60mg of dapoxetine orally on an empty stomach, the peak blood concentrations were reached 1.01 and 1.27 hours later, respectively (297ng/ml and 498ng/ml, respectively).

How to use Priligy: Oral. The pills should be swallowed in small pieces. It is recommended that patients swallow the drug with at least a full glass of water. Patients should minimize injuries caused by front-wheel drive symptoms such as fainting or dizziness. 1. The strongly recommended initial dosage for adult males (18 to 64 years old) for all patients is 30Mg, which needs to be taken about 1 to 3 hours before sexual intercourse. If the actual effect after taking 30Mg is not satisfactory and the side effects are still within the acceptable range, the dosage can be increased to the maximum strongly recommended dosage of 60Mg. The highly recommended maximum dosage application frequency is once every 24 hours. This product can be taken before or after meals. If a physician uses this product to treat premature ejaculation, the physician should evaluate the risks and patient-reported benefits within the first 4 weeks of treatment with the drug, or assess the patient's risk-benefit balance after 6 treatment doses and decide whether to continue treatment with the product. 2. Patients with mild or moderate renal impairment Patients with mild or moderate renal impairment do not need to make dosage adjustments when taking this product, but should take it with caution.
