Do you know why there are bumps on the scrotum?

It is quite common for men to have small bumps on their scrotum. According to andrologists, many men do not pay attention to personal hygiene, and the scrotum area is susceptible to bacterial infection, resulting in scrotal warts. This is how the small bumps appear, and they are also accompanied by itching. At this time, you should avoid scratching them with your hands, otherwise the condition will worsen.

1. Scrotal warts: It is common for men to have bumps on their scrotums, mainly related to scrotal warts. This disease is caused by local neglect of hygiene and common bacterial infection. At the beginning, it is a small papule, which can grow to the size of a mung bean, ranging from a few to 20 to 30 accompanied by itching.

2. Scrotal nodules: This disease is mainly caused by scabies, trichomonas and other insect infections. The severity, number and size of each patient vary from person to person, accompanied by itching and discomfort. This disease is more common in men.

3. Condyloma acuminatum caused by sexual intercourse: Generally, males are infected with papillomavirus through unclean sexual contact, which causes genital warts. Generally, the disease occurs on the glans penis, coronal sulcus, foreskin, frenulum, and urethral opening. However, this disease has a local itching sensation. If the patient scratches the affected area with his hands and then scratches the scrotum, the disease will be transmitted to the scrotum through self-inoculation, resulting in cauliflower-like warts on the scrotum.

The first two types of forehead bumps on the scrotum are skin diseases, which can be cured quickly with conventional treatment. The latter is a sexually transmitted disease that causes a kind of pimple-like wart. The biggest difference between this disease and the first two is that the surface of the first two types of bumps is basically smooth and clean, while the surface of the latter appears to be rough and uneven like cauliflower, and even has spikes. If the infection is condyloma acuminatum, you need to go to the urology and venereal disease department for diagnosis and treatment. Only with standardized treatment can it be completely cured and prevented from recurring.
