People who carry pathogenic genes are not necessarily patients. As long as they do not come into contact with the corresponding environmental triggers, they can remain disease-free throughout their lives. On the contrary, when exposed to environmental triggers, they may become ill at any time. If genetic factors are regarded as the seeds of disease, then environmental factors are the soil that promotes the growth of disease, just like seeds separated from the soil. Without the stimulation of environmental factors, vitiligo cannot occur or develop. Therefore, eliminating all possibilities of causing vitiligo is the most important decision to prevent vitiligo.
