What are the symptoms of urinary tract infection in men?

If a male friend's urinary system is infected, many parts of the body will be affected, which poses a greater threat to health. The symptoms of male urinary system infection are more obvious and can generally be discovered in time. For example, there is redness and swelling at the urethral opening, purulent secretions at the urethral opening, pain at the urethral opening, etc.

1. Urethral discharge is purulent or white.

Urethral discharge is mainly seen in sexually transmitted diseases, such as white substance overflowing, or some sticky liquid sticking around the urethral opening. It is mainly seen in gonorrhea, urethritis, inflammation, etc. This situation generally indicates that it is in the infection or obvious inflammatory stage, which is the key moment of treatment.

2. Redness and swelling of the urethra

It refers to a pathological feature in which the urethral opening becomes red and swollen, and sometimes even turns outward. It may also be accompanied by symptoms such as itching and pain.

The occurrence of this condition generally indicates that the patient is currently in the inflammatory response stage of a certain urogenital infection, which is a critical stage of treatment and requires active and effective diagnosis and treatment, such as gonorrhea, non-gonococcal gonorrhea, and AIDS.

3. Pain at the urethral opening

Urethra pain usually occurs with other symptoms. The pain can be stinging, dull, or sometimes pulling or radiating inward. This condition is usually seen in prostatitis, orchitis, balanitis, condyloma acuminatum, syphilis, genital herpes, and other diseases.

4. Urethra ulcer

Urethral erosion is generally seen in chronic infectious diseases, often accompanied by symptoms such as secretions and stinging. Most of them are non-gonococcal urethritis, chronic urethritis, gonorrhea, and balanitis. During this period, care should be strengthened, hygiene should be enhanced, and treatment should be actively carried out.
