Prostate hyperplasia, beware of 7 major signs

Prostate hyperplasia, beware of 7 major signs

If a man suffers from prostate hyperplasia, the earliest symptoms are frequent urination and difficulty urinating. In the later stages, hematuria may even occur. If the situation is more serious, it can cause a series of systemic symptoms.

1. Frequent urination Frequent urination is the earliest manifestation, first at night, and then during the day. In the later stage, the residual urine increases after the bladder detrusor fails to compensate, and the effective bladder capacity decreases, which also makes the frequent urination more serious.

2. Dysuria Progressive dysuria is a notable feature of this disease, manifested by delayed onset of urination, thinning of the urine stream, shortened range, and dripping after urination.

3. Hematuria The capillaries on the prostatic mucosa are congested and the small blood vessels are dilated, and they are pulled by the filling and contraction of the bladder and rupture and bleed. Hematuria may also occur when combined with bladder tumors.

4. Systemic symptoms: If you suffer from prostatitis, you will experience systemic symptoms, mainly as follows: fever and chills, body aches, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, dry stools, headaches, etc.

5. Local symptoms: Prostatitis can also cause some local symptoms such as a feeling of heaviness in the perineum or suprapubic area, which is aggravated by long-term sitting and defecation, and radiates to the waist, lower abdomen, back, and thigh roots.

6. Urinary tract symptoms: The urinary tract symptoms caused by prostatitis mainly include the following: burning pain during urination, urgency, frequent urination, dribbling or purulent urine after urination. In severe cases, urination may be difficult, the urine flow may become thin, and even urine retention may occur.

7. Rectal symptoms: Rectal symptoms caused by prostatitis include rectal distension, urgent or painful defecation, and white discharge from the urethra during defecation.
