Causes and symptoms of vasomotor rhinitis

Rhinitis is a general term for a class of diseases, which are divided into different types. According to experts, some types of rhinitis are incurable and thus cause great inconvenience to people's lives. So, what is the cause of vasomotor rhinitis and what are its obvious symptoms?

Causes of vasomotor rhinitis

(1) Emotional excitement, such as fear, anxiety, grief, tension and other emotional changes, can all be the cause of this disease.

(2) Endocrine factors: Physical stimulation can cause congestion of the nasal mucosa and increased secretions, leading to the onset of vasomotor rhinitis.

(3) Physical factors: physical stimulation such as cold, heat and sunlight can even induce this disease.

Symptoms

1. The symptoms of vasomotor rhinitis are sensitivity to changes in humidity and temperature, strong odor stimulation, emotional fluctuations, and mental tension.

2. The nasal mucosa of patients with allergic rhinitis appears congested and dark red, while the nasal mucosa of patients with allergic rhinitis appears pale and swollen.

3. Skin tests for nasal motor rhinitis are usually negative, nasal secretion smears show no typical changes, and LgE tests are negative.
