What are the common symptoms of love phobia?

Love is a wonderful thing and one of the most magical things in the human emotional world. However, some people are afraid of falling in love. Why is that? What are the manifestations of love phobia?

1. Fear of losing everything in love

Some people with love phobia worry that they will lose their friends because of love, so they would rather maintain an ambiguous relationship than fall in love.

2. Fear of Hurting Others

I am afraid that I will lose my love for freedom, I am afraid that after falling in love, I will never be able to go back to the past, I am afraid that I love the other person more than the other person loves me.

3. Fear of being hurt or rejected

Even if a love-phobia patient is deeply in love with the other person, he dare not express it. He is afraid that the other person will reject him/her and dislike him/her because of this. Such thoughts make the love-phobia patient fall into deep anxiety and panic. They often would rather have unrequited love than confess their love to the other person.

4. Afraid of wasting a lot of spare time because of love, and afraid of losing the freedom and personal space when they were single because of love.

5. Fear of falling in love with someone, and even more fear of falling deeply in love with someone

Some patients with love phobia are very unconfident about themselves. Therefore, they are afraid that they will fall deeply in love with others but others will not treat them with the same feelings. This phenomenon is often unacceptable to patients with love phobia.
