What is the whole process from pregnancy to delivery? In the early stage of pregnancy, you should pay attention to not doing strenuous exercise because the fetus is unstable, and rest more. Until the second trimester, the fetus is relatively stable. At this time, the fetus's bones are developing, and calcium, iron and zinc nutrients should be supplemented appropriately. In the late stage of pregnancy, the fetus gradually grows, which may affect the normal daily life of pregnant women. You should pay attention to maintaining an average range when getting up, and go to the hospital for regular check-ups during pregnancy.

After the pregnant woman is sent to the delivery room, she will be asked to lie on the side of the delivery bed, with her legs separated and fixed on the footrests on both sides; then, the nurse will disinfect the perineum for the pregnant woman and cover the sterile test surgical treatment sheet, and then announce the preparation for delivery. The doctors or nurses in the delivery room will ask the pregnant woman to push hard when in pain and try to deliver the baby from the vagina. After a lot of hard work, the baby is finally about to come out! Before the fetal head comes out, the doctor will inject partial anesthetics for pregnant women with too tight perineum and cut the perineum, which can prevent the wound from irregularly cracking and affecting future healing.

The head of the fetus will be delivered gradually. The doctor will carefully protect the baby and control the delivery rate at a steady pace. After the head of the fetus is delivered, the secretions in the baby's mouth must be sucked out immediately with a rubber tube to allow the baby to breathe smoothly. The fetal umbilical cord is broken within 30 seconds after the baby is delivered. Then the baby is placed on the baby's bed with an insulated heat preservation machine for further handling and cleaning.

Generally, the baby will start to cry automatically soon after birth. Loud crying indicates that the fetus is breathing normally. If there is no crying, the baby's body should be slightly stimulated or oxygen therapy should be given. After a simple inspection and treatment, the baby will be sent to the baby room for further detailed inspection and care; of course, before sending the baby out, the pregnant woman and her relatives will first appreciate how innocent and lovely the newborn life is.

The newborn is born, but the doctor's work is not over yet. They will first pull the embryo out gradually, and perform uterine massage to reduce the amount of blood loss after childbirth; finally, they will carefully suture the torn vulva. After the whole process is completed, the pregnant woman will stay in the delivery room for observation for about two hours. If the situation is stable, she will be sent to the hospital ward to rest.
