2. Recurrent genital herpes

After the primary skin lesions disappear, the rash recurs. Recurrent genital herpes is milder than primary systemic symptoms and skin lesions, and the history of illness is shorter.

(1) Before the rash appears, there is a burning sensation, a pricking sensation, or a feeling of abnormality.

(2) Clusters of small blisters appear on the genitals or anus, which quickly burst to produce erosions or shallow ulcers. The active symptoms are relatively mild.

(3) History of illness for 7 to 10 days.

How to treat genital herpes

The key is to use antiviral drugs. The purpose of treatment is mainly to relieve symptoms, relieve pain, reduce the history of the disease and avoid secondary infections. The current treatment methods cannot completely eliminate viral infections and clear attacks.

1. General treatment

If it is the first onset of genital herpes, the treatment course is 7 to 10 days; the treatment course for recurrent genital herpes is 5 days. Those with high incidence should take a lower dosage for a long period of treatment.
