Chronic prostatitis is a relatively difficult disease to treat, which is known to many patients. Due to some reasons, treatment is sometimes effective for some patients, but not for others. Many patients have foreskin that is too long when they are ill, or have had unclean sexual intercourse. In addition, some patients' sexual partners do not receive treatment at the same time, and some other patients do not receive treatment regularly, etc. These factors can easily make the disease difficult to treat. It is recommended that you adopt comprehensive treatment, which I will introduce to you below. Chronic bacterial prostatitis is difficult to cure clinically. Generally, comprehensive treatment is used, and the course of treatment is usually 2 to 3 months. (1) General treatment. Relieving mental anxiety and worries, maintaining a healthy and regular diet and lifestyle, participating in appropriate physical exercise, hot water baths, and regular prostate massage all have a certain effect on this disease. (2) Antibiotic treatment. It is necessary to choose drugs that are lipid-soluble and can enter the prostate tissue. For treatment of pathogens, the selection of reasonable antibiotics is mainly based on bacterial culture and drug sensitivity tests. (3) Local treatment ① Prostate massage: The massage method is to let the patient take the knee-chest position, and the massager wears a rubber fingertip on the index finger of his right hand, applies wax oil, and gently massages the anus first. Then, slowly extend the index finger into the rectum, touch the posterior lobe of the prostate indirectly through the rectal mucosa, and use the last knuckle of the index finger to point to the posterior lobe of the prostate, and press the prostate from the outside and from the top to the inside and downward. That is, first press from both sides of the gland to the midline 3 to 4 times, and then press from the central groove from top to bottom to the external opening of the urethra to press out the prostate fluid. Generally, massage 1-2 times a week, 4-8 times as a course of treatment, and can last for 2-3 courses. The massage technique should be "light and slow", and avoid rough, repeated and strong pressure to avoid causing new damage to the prostate tissue, aggravating the inflammation, and even producing toxic and side effects, aggravating the condition. Urinate immediately after massage, so that the inflammatory secretions accumulated in the posterior urethra can be discharged with urine. Prostate massage is contraindicated during acute attacks of chronic prostatitis to avoid causing the spread of inflammation. Massage therapy is not suitable for patients with prostate atrophy and sclerosis. Massage is also contraindicated for patients suspected of prostate tuberculosis or tumors. Generally, after massage, the patient feels comfortable and the urethral white spot symptoms can be reduced or disappeared. If fever or worsening of symptoms occur after massage, massage should be suspended and antibiotics should be used for treatment. ② Hot water sitting bath: Soak the buttocks and vulva in hot water as much as possible, with the water temperature controlled at 42-43℃, 1-2 times a day, each time for 15-20 minutes. This treatment can improve local blood circulation, promote the absorption of inflammation, and has a significant effect on improving local symptoms such as perineal pain. ③Prostate heat therapy: In recent years, transurethral or transrectal prostate microwave or radio frequency therapy machines have been developed, which have a certain effect on chronic bacterial prostatitis. When using the prostate radio frequency therapy device, the radio frequency electrode is inserted into the prostate part of the urethra. The other electrode is placed on the suprapubic area. The treatment temperature is 42-43°C and the duration is 2 hours. After treatment, oral antibiotics sensitive to prostate fluid bacterial culture are taken. The treatment can be repeated after half a month. In addition, zinc complex protein treatment can also be used. At the same time, we also need to know such a truth - Chinese medicine has such a theory "blockage causes pain", that is, patients with chronic prostatitis are very painful, so some people compare it to "cancer that is not cancer." The above content introduces the comprehensive treatment of chronic prostatitis. It is recommended that everyone pay attention to it. Of course, you should listen to your doctor on how to treat it. In daily life, you should not touch irritating foods such as alcohol, caffeine, and spicy food, because these things have adverse effects on the male prostate. In addition, everyone should pay attention to eating more foods that are beneficial to the disease and do appropriate exercise. |
