Epididymitis pain is one of the symptoms of epididymitis, which is divided into subacute epididymitis and chronic epididymitis. Epididymitis is very harmful to men's health. Men must pay attention to it. If they suffer from epididymitis, they must go to the hospital for outpatient treatment in time. If they are not treated in time, it will cause male infertility. Epididymal cyst pain is a typical symptom of epididymitis. The occurrence of male epididymitis will cause pain in the male epididymal cyst. So, what is the cause of epididymitis? Male epididymitis is a common disease in young people. When the body's resistance is low, pathogens such as E. coli, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus will take advantage of the plane to enter the ejaculatory duct and travel backwards to invade the epididymal cyst to cause inflammation. Therefore, epididymitis is often secondary to posterior urethritis, prostatitis, and seminal vesiculitis. Clinical symptoms of acute epididymitis: sudden onset, high fever, elevated white blood cells, swelling and pain in the scrotum of the affected limb, a feeling of heaviness, and referred pain in the lower abdomen and groin, which worsens when standing up or walking. The epididymal cyst of the affected limb is swollen and there is significant tenderness. When the inflammation is very large, the epididymal cyst and male testicles are both swollen, and the boundary between the two is unclear, which is called epididymal cyst-orchitis. The seminal tract of the affected limb is enlarged and thickened, and there is also tenderness. Under normal circumstances, acute symptoms can slowly disappear after a week. Clinical symptoms of chronic epididymitis: Chronic epididymitis is more common. Some patients become chronic because acute symptoms cannot be completely cured, but most patients do not have confirmed acute symptoms. Inflammation is often secondary to chronic prostatitis or damage. Patients often feel dull pain and bloating in the scrotum of the affected limb. The pain often involves the lower abdomen and groin in the same direction. Sometimes it can be combined with secondary hydrocele. During examination, the epididymal cyst often appears to be enlarged and hardened to varying degrees, with slight tenderness, and the ejaculatory duct in the same direction may be enlarged and thickened. |
