Groin pain in men

Groin pain in men

Men experience bilateral groin pain. The most common disease is urinary tract infection, such as bilateral seminal vesiculitis, vas deferens, orchitis, epididymitis, or retrograde infection due to prostatitis, which causes inflammation of the urinary tract. Patients can first conduct a semen analysis and routine semen examination. If the white blood cell count is found to be elevated, anti-infective drug treatment will generally alleviate the symptoms. Commonly seen in bilateral varicose veins, bilateral varicose veins have a low incidence in clinical medicine, but generally present with symptoms of bilateral pain. Patients are advised to undergo scrotal and abdominal ultrasound to determine whether there are any anatomical abnormalities. If necessary, laparoscopic bilateral varicose vein ligation should be performed for treatment.

Some elderly men suffer from bilateral inguinal oblique hernia or direct hernia due to reduced abdominal support. Ultrasound and physical examination can be used to diagnose the condition, and surgical treatment is the main treatment.

Different causes of pain require different medications. If you have been overexerting, exercising too much, or bumping into something, you can take ibuprofen sustained-release capsules or painkillers orally. In addition, you need to apply local heat and drink more warm water. The symptoms can be gradually alleviated. If you have had a cough, sputum, or a fever recently, it is often caused by bacterial or viral infection. You should take heat-clearing and detoxifying medicines, such as honeysuckle tea or Shuanghuanglian oral liquid, and take antibiotics or antiviral drugs if necessary. You need to consult a doctor.

If it is caused by varicose veins, you need to go to the hospital for B-ultrasound to confirm. Mild varicose veins do not require medication, and you can adjust the time of standing and sitting. The symptoms will gradually improve. Surgery is required for deeper cases. Other reasons such as abdominal mass or intestinal obstruction, etc., persistent pain requires immediate medical treatment in the hospital to confirm the cause of the disease.
