From the age of 20, the ratio of body fat to muscle tissue tends to increase, and muscle strength and plasticity begin to decline. The older you are, the harder it is to exercise.

As we age, changes in the body may develop in two directions. On the one hand, the body needs less calories and stores more excess calories. On the other hand, the body's ability to process food and absorb nutrients decreases. As a result, a 45-year-old's diet is similar to that of a 20-year-old, but the energy taken in by the former is more likely to be converted into weight rather than nourishment. Therefore, choosing a proper diet is important to prevent obesity.

It can be seen that obesity is mainly related to exercise and diet. The report of the National Institute of Aging in the United States believes that exercise can significantly inhibit, slow down or reverse the above-mentioned aging process, and adopting correct eating habits can completely avoid obesity.

A better diet is one that is low in fat (less than 30% of the intake), low in protein (10%-15%), and high in carbohydrates (45%-60%). Carbohydrates provide the energy needed by muscles during exercise. Carbohydrates are also an excellent source of fiber. Fiber speeds up food digestion, reduces the absorption of calories and fat, stabilizes insulin levels, inhibits fat storage, and increases blood fat and cholesterol levels.

Men should also pay attention to maintaining their figure, especially married men. Obesity not only affects their image, but also harms their health, so men must maintain a good image.
