If you feel a hard ball on the left testicle when you touch it, you need to pay attention to it, because it is very likely caused by men's diseases, such as orchitis and epididymitis. 1. Orchitis: Orchitis often causes swelling of one or both testicles, so you should go to the doctor. If diagnosed, the doctor will prescribe painkillers to relieve the pain.

2. Internal testicular injury: Injury to the inside of both testicles may be the cause of testicular swelling. This may require hospitalization and, if necessary, surgical treatment.

3. Epididymitis: The epididymis is located around the posterior edge of the testicle, where sperm is temporarily stored after production. Epididymitis is mostly caused by bacterial infection of the urinary tract that has not healed, causing the bacteria to enter the epididymis through the lumen of the vas deferens.

2. Chronic and recurrent testicular prolapse and pain: It is more common in prostatitis and varicocele. In chronic cases, the symptoms are milder, so it is not easy to determine the exact location of the inflammation. Testicular swelling and pain are not necessarily proportional to the severity of the inflammation. Some people are very sensitive and mild inflammation can cause severe discomfort; while some people are more delayed and feel that it is mild.

3. Testicular prolapse and pain after sex: This may be due to sexual excitement causing the genitals and gonads to become highly congested. Violent exercise or sex can sometimes cause the levator testis to contract strongly, causing the testicles with an overly long frenulum to twist and cause severe testicular pain. Some pain is caused by varicocele or pain radiating from other parts of the body, such as radiating testicular pain caused by ureteral stones. At this time, the real cause must be carefully identified in order to effectively treat the symptoms.
