A red and swollen glans accompanied by white secretions is a clinical manifestation caused by bacterial infection. Go to the hospital for a detailed examination as soon as possible. Most patients suffer from balanitis. After the onset, they will feel their glans is red, swollen and itchy, and there is even a risk of erosion. (2) Redness and swelling of the glans penis causes sexual dysfunction. The sensory nerves in the glans penis are in a sensitive period, and coupled with the damage caused by inflammation, premature ejaculation is more likely to occur during sexual intercourse, which can lead to impotence in the long run.

Redness and swelling of the glans penis can cause ascending infection of the urinary system. It is common in cystitis, nephritis, pyelonephritis, etc., especially in those who have not been cured for a long time. It is most likely to cause urinary system diseases. Improper treatment in the acute stage can be life-threatening.

(1) Pay attention to local hygiene and clean the glans penis and foreskin every day. If the foreskin is too long, it should be treated promptly and circumcised if necessary. It is also necessary to clean the smegma in time.

(2) If ulcers or erosions occur, the dressing should be changed promptly, twice a day, to avoid uncomfortable irritation.

(3) Suspend sexual activity and seek treatment promptly. If you have trichomonas infection or Candida albicans infection, both husband and wife should be treated at the same time.

(4) If it is caused by acute balanitis, avoid using corticosteroid ointments to prevent more serious infection.
