Men who have never done this with their wives are more likely to get seriously ill

Recently, researchers from Stanford University School of Medicine have shown that compared with men of childbearing age, men diagnosed with infertility may have a higher risk of other common diseases, such as diabetes and ischemic heart disease. What is going on?

Infertile men are more likely to suffer from diabetes and heart disease

The researchers studied more than 115,000 men of reproductive age between 2001 and 2009 in an anonymous database. They analyzed the men's medical visits before and after infertility assessment in order to determine the health complications that individuals may experience after fertility assessment. The researchers then compared the health of men who underwent infertility diagnosis, those who did not undergo diagnosis, and those who had vasectomy.

"In all three groups, infertile men had an increased risk of multiple diseases, including heart disease and diabetes, even after adjusting for obesity, smoking and health care. In addition, men with severe infertility had the highest risk of kidney disease and alcohol abuse. The researchers hope that their study will help determine why infertile men are at higher risk for specific diseases. If we can find out, it may help develop new targeted interventions to reduce the risk of these diseases."

After reading the above content, will you still be indifferent? Then, how should we take good care of our health in our daily life?

1. Patients need to adjust their own psychology, relax their mind in time, and eliminate anxiety. Do something that can express their emotions, such as reading favorite books and participating in group activities.

2. Pay attention to maintaining family harmony, which is conducive to eliminating tension in work and life. Husband and wife should cooperate with each other and cater to their own needs. This can greatly increase the probability of conception.

3. Male patients should actively participate in physical exercise, stick to daily activities, cultivate a wide range of interests, combine work and rest, and properly relieve tension, so as to gradually improve the quality of sperm.

4. Try to avoid bad living habits, have a healthy and reasonable eating habit, eat more nutritious food, such as fresh vegetables and fruits, but never smoke or drink. You must recognize the importance and necessity of quitting smoking in your mind.
