It is like a wart-like vegetation, covered with silvery white mica scales on the glans, with psoriasis-like lesions, and will form cracks and ulcers. The affected area gradually loses elasticity and changes over a long period of time. Histopathology shows hyperkeratosis and keratinization of the epidermis, manifested as pseudoepithelial hyperplasia, hypertrophy of the acanthosis layer, and chronic inflammatory cell infiltration in the upper dermis.
