There is a small bump on the foreskin

The foreskin is a relatively important part of the male reproductive organ. Many male friends will have small bumps on the foreskin. This situation is closely related to private moisture, thick foreskin, long-term sexual life, bacterial infection, etc. Over time, it is easy to cause male diseases such as balanitis and eczema. Pay attention to the cleaning of the foreskin and reduce smoking, drinking and bad living habits.

It may be an infectious disease of the genitourinary system, such as fungal infection, balanitis, glansitis, pseudowarts, eczema, folliculitis, tinea cruris, etc. Infectious diseases can be cross-infected through sexual life. If there is unclean contact, the possibility of sexually transmitted diseases such as genital herpes cannot be ruled out.

For symptoms caused by balanitis, it is recommended that you go to the urology department of a local regular hospital for a checkup. You can also wash it with saline water, apply Bactroban ointment externally, pay attention to personal hygiene, clean the area frequently, and avoid masturbation. Excessive masturbation can cause local congestion of reproductive organs such as the penis and prostate, reduce immunity, and easily induce urinary and reproductive system infections, such as prostatitis and urethritis, which can cause sexual dysfunction such as premature ejaculation, impotence, and erectile dysfunction.

You can do more exercise, avoid watching pornographic images, and wear loose underwear. It is recommended to quit masturbation and go to a professional men's hospital to check whether the cavernous body of the penis is damaged to avoid affecting future sex life. The foreskin covers the surface of the penis. Small bumps on the foreskin often occur in young people and adults, generally more common in 20-40 years old. 10% of normal people will have it, more common in young people with long foreskin and masturbation habits. It is a physiological abnormality, not a sexually transmitted disease. It may be related to the long foreskin and more smegma, which causes chronic inflammatory stimulation.

Let's talk about it in detail: This small bump is medically called a small papule. It is a small reddish papule that appears around the glans penis at the coronal sulcus of the penis. Pearly penile papulosis is characterized by smooth papules with a diameter of about 1-2 mm, arranged in rows at the coronal sulcus, and exists for a long time without increasing or enlarging, and without any conscious symptoms. This is a normal condition, not a sexually transmitted disease, and does not require treatment.

In addition, small pimples on the foreskin are more likely to be caused by genital infectious diseases such as balanitis and glansitis. Common causes of glansitis include infection from unclean sexual life, excessive foreskin, invasion of pathogenic microorganisms, poor local hygiene, etc. It is recommended to pay attention to personal hygiene, especially local cleanliness, regular life, light diet, drink plenty of water, avoid spicy and irritating food, and go to a regular hospital in time for external genital secretions, bacterial culture and other related examinations to clarify, and cooperate with treatment according to the doctor's instructions based on the examination results.

There are usually no conscious symptoms on the foreskin. They are often found suddenly after bathing or unclean sexual intercourse and are easily misdiagnosed as condyloma acuminatum. The histopathological findings are the same as those of vulvar pseudo-warts, with papillary protrusions in appearance, mild hypertrophy of the mucosal epithelium, and vacuolar appearance similar to normal mucosa in the middle and upper parts of the epithelium. The size and shape of the vacuoles are consistent, the cell nuclei are not darkly stained, condensed, and the mucosal epithelium is wrapped in loose connective tissue. The capillaries in the connective tissue proliferate and dilate, and there are a few lymphocytes infiltrating. Polymerase chain reaction tests for human papillomavirus are all negative, so it is not a sexually transmitted disease. It can be differentiated from genital warts based on clinical, histopathological and human papillomavirus examinations, and the diagnosis is not difficult.

There are small bumps on the foreskin. The current diagnosis method can be determined by naked eyes if the skin lesions are very typical. For less typical ones, acetowhite test can be used, or skin lesions can be taken for pathological examination, or PCR examination can be taken. If the diagnosis is clear, laser, freezing, topical drugs (such as podophyllotoxin) and surgery should be used. In treatment, if the patient has a long foreskin, circumcision should be performed to avoid smegma stimulation. The skin lesions of penile pearly papulosis itself do not need to be treated. Small bumps on the foreskin cannot be pulled out by yourself, because it can be self-inoculated and spread faster after being broken. Regular examinations should be carried out after treatment, and recurring and untreated skin lesions should be treated in time.
