Blood in urine is also called hematuria in medicine. Whether male or female, if blood in urine occurs, they should go to the hospital immediately to cooperate with the doctor's examination and treatment. Male friends should pay more attention to their blood in urine, because the male ureter and vas deferens are the same channel. If there is blood in urine, it proves that there is a problem with the ureter. Now we will explain the specific causes of blood in urine for male friends. Is it serious for men to have bleeding in their urine? In this regard, experts analyzed that bleeding after urination is a typical symptom of hematuria, the most common urethritis in clinical practice. Urethritis is an inflammation of the urethral mucosa. Most patients will experience urinary urgency, frequent urination, dysuria, hematuria, chills, and fever. In severe cases, acute urethritis and chronic urethritis are generally clinically diagnosed, and patients should receive symptomatic treatment. There are many clinical methods for treating urethritis. In view of the wide range of urethritis, TCM treatment of urethritis focuses on the principle of holistic treatment, starting from the functions of the five internal organs to regulate the entire internal environment, so as to achieve the purpose of treatment. Therefore, as long as the patient chooses the right medicine, TCM treatment of hemospermia can be cured, and it can be taken orally. Of course, some patients suffer from hematospermia due to genital tract damage. The pills can not only eliminate inflammation, but also help patients repair damaged organs. The treatment effect of treating both the symptoms and the root cause is more accurate. If patients can follow the doctor's instructions and take the medicine, the disease can be cured within three courses. From the previous clinical treatment experience, Chinese medicine does have a good effect in treating hematospermia. We must first determine what is the blood in the urine. It is recommended to go to the hospital for a routine urine test. If there is a red blood cell in the urine, it is "hematuria". Hematuria is an abnormal increase in red blood cells in the urine, which may be a serious disease of the urinary system. Hematuria refers to the abnormal increase of red blood cells in urine when there are ≥3 red blood cells per high-power microscopic field in centrifugal sediment urine, or more than 1 red blood cell count in non-centrifugal urine or more than 100,000 red blood cells in 1 hour, or more than 500,000 red blood cells in 12 hours of urine sediment. In mild cases, only red blood cells are found under the microscope, which is called microscopic hematuria; in severe cases, the appearance is like meat washing water or contains blood clots, which is called macroscopic hematuria. Usually, when there is 1mL of blood in each liter of urine, it is visible to the naked eye, and the urine is red or meat washing water. Causes of hematuria More than 95% of hematuria is caused by diseases of the urinary system itself, among which glomerular diseases (acute nephritis, rapidly progressive nephritis, membranoproliferative nephritis, mesangial proliferative nephritis, focal glomerulosclerosis, etc.), renal cysts, stones (kidney, ureter, bladder, urethral stones), prostatic hyperplasia, urinary tract infections (tuberculosis, pyelonephritis, cystourethritis, prostatitis) and tumors (kidney, ureter, bladder, prostate tumors) are the most common. Other diseases such as abnormal coagulation (idiopathic or drug-induced thrombocytopenia, hemophilia, scurvy, etc.), systemic diseases (plastic anemia, leukemia, systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, leptospirosis, epidemic hemorrhagic fever, etc.) can also cause hematuria. Blood in the urine is hematuria, also known as hematuria. Under normal circumstances, there are no red blood cells in the urine. Medically, after the patient's urine is centrifuged and precipitated, it is examined under a microscope. If there are more than 5 red blood cells in each high-power field of view, it is called hematuria. If red blood cells are only found under a microscope, but the eyes cannot see blood in the urine, it is called submicroscopic hematuria; if the eyes can see that the urine is "meat washing water-like" or bloody, or even there are blood streaks or blood clots in the urine, it is called naked eye hematuria. Therefore, hematuria is not always found by the eyes. If you can see blood in the urine with your eyes, at least 1 ml of blood is mixed in about 1000 ml of urine, which means that the hematuria is more serious, and the cause should be found out as soon as possible and actively treated. 1. Causes of hematuria Hematuria is often caused by urinary system diseases. Human urine is produced in the kidneys and discharged from the body through the renal pelvis, ureters, bladder, and urethra. Diseases and bleeding in any of these organs can cause hematuria. Common causes of hematuria include various nephritis, urinary tract infection, hemorrhagic cystitis, urinary tract stones, renal tuberculosis, renal tumors, and kidney and urethra injuries. Hematuria is one of the main symptoms of these diseases. (II) Differential diagnosis of hematuria If the urine is hematuria at the beginning of urination but normal in the latter part of the urine, it is usually caused by urinary tract diseases. If the urine is normal at the beginning but hematuria appears at the end of urination, it is usually caused by cystitis and prostate diseases. If the urine is dark red, it is usually caused by kidney diseases. Hematuria rarely causes shock. Hematuria is common in the following diseases 1. Kidney diseases Pyelonephritis, hematuria with dysuria, urgency, frequency, back pain, fever. 2. Acute glomerulonephritis Hematuria with oliguria, proteinuria, edema, hypertension, and tonsillitis one week before the onset of the disease. 3. Urinary stones The characteristics are hematuria accompanied by renal colic, or symptoms such as interrupted urination, dysuria, and urinary pain. 4. Renal tuberculosis More than 90% of patients have hematuria, characterized by urinary urgency, frequency, and gradual increase in urinary pain. 5. Kidney and urinary tract damage Most of them have a history of trauma to the waist or abdomen, such as contusion, collision, fall, etc. 6. Allergic purpura This disease causes bleeding spots on the skin, gastrointestinal bleeding, and joint pain. Hematuria will appear 2-4 weeks after the bleeding spots on the skin. 7. Systemic diseases Vitamin C and vitamin K deficiency and blood diseases such as leukemia and hemophilia can cause hematuria. 8. Drug-induced hematuria Some drugs are harmful to the kidneys and can cause hematuria after taking them, such as gentamicin, tetracycline, sulfonamides, kanamycin, etc. 9. Transient hematuria It is caused by drinking too little water. It disappears quickly after drinking more water and diluting the urine. Through the introduction above, I believe everyone has a more comprehensive understanding of the situation of bleeding after urination. Bleeding after urination is still a relatively common situation in our lives. I hope the above article can help everyone. I wish the patients a speedy recovery. |
