There is blood in a man's sperm, which is clinically called blood in the sperm. If a man discovers blood in the sperm for the first time, he must be very scared because this phenomenon is not common and looks very scary. For this problem, the patient must go to the hospital for examination in time and must abstain from sex before being cured. Never have sexual impulses. So what is the usual cause of blood in the sperm? What happens if there is blood in the sperm? When an adult man ejaculates and finds that his semen turns red, sometimes mixed with blood, his nervousness and fear can be imagined. Blood in semen is medically called hematospermia, and it is mostly caused by seminal vesiculitis. As we all know, in the posterior urethra of the human body, behind the prostate, there grows a pair of tubular glandular tissues called seminal vesicles. The seminal vesicles are connected to the posterior urethra through the ejaculatory duct. Since the walls of the seminal vesicles are thin, once they become inflamed and congested, or if there are lesions such as stones, the walls of the vesicles filled with blood vessels are prone to bleeding. The secretion of the seminal vesicles is one of the main components of semen. If the bleeding of the seminal vesicles makes the secretion stained with blood, and if it is discharged from the body with semen, hematospermia occurs. Because the seminal vesicle and the prostate are closely adjacent in anatomy, these two organs are often a pair of brothers in distress when they become inflamed, that is, seminal vesiculitis often occurs simultaneously with chronic prostatitis. Chronic prostatitis can also cause hematospermia. Its mechanism is similar to that of seminal vesiculitis. Since prostatic fluid is another important component of semen, the prostate is congested and exudes due to inflammation; frequent sexual intercourse causes capillary rupture; and the strong contraction and relaxation of prostatic fluid during ejaculation can cause blood in the prostatic fluid, and then the semen is also stained with blood. Similar to the situation of chronic prostatitis, prostatic hyperplasia can also cause hematospermia. If it is confirmed that the hematospermia is caused by seminal vesiculitis or chronic prostatitis, in addition to antibiotic treatment, it is also necessary to add hemostatic drugs, usually Anvoxil and vitamin 1t intramuscular injection or oral treatment. Those who have hematospermia caused by prostatic hyperplasia can also use these two drugs to stop bleeding. It is worth noting that hematospermia caused by chronic prostatitis or seminal vesiculitis is often related to excessive sexual intercourse or rough movements. Therefore, if hematospermia occurs, sexual intercourse should be suspended. The bleeding will usually disappear quickly after hemostatic treatment. In addition, the causes of hematospermia include spermatocyst, tuberculosis, tumor, schistosomiasis, portal hypertension, systemic blood system diseases, etc. Although they are rare, they should not be ignored. Therefore, if hematospermia occurs, you should go to the hospital for examination and do not take it lightly. How to Treat Hematospermia After the discovery of blood in semen, the cause should be found out as soon as possible, and then the cause should be treated. For example, prostatitis and seminal vesiculitis should be treated with inflammation, tuberculosis should be treated with anti-tumor therapy, and tumors should be treated with surgery. Antibiotics and sulfonamides or quinolones can be used for anti-infection treatment for unexplained causes. Sometimes, seminal vesicle and prostate massage is also used to empty the fluid containing bacteria in the seminal vesicle as soon as possible to facilitate recovery. For those with continuous blood in semen, electrocautery can be performed under urethroscopy. In the acute stage, the blood is bright red. The first thing is to stop sexual life and rest for 1-2 weeks. After that, the amount of blood in semen begins to decrease, and the color is dark brown, which is old bleeding. You can try to resume 1-2 sexual intercourses, but the number of times should not be too frequent and the movements should not be too dramatic. The reason why we do not advocate abstinence from sexual intercourse is that the blood stasis of sperm in the seminal vesicle or prostate should be given a "way out" and discharged in time to avoid aggravating infection or spreading. At the same time, each sexual intercourse should not last too long to discharge the old sperm stasis, so as to avoid aggravating congestion of the prostate and causing aggravation or recurrence of bleeding. During sexual intercourse, you should be calm and less excited, and your movements should be gentle and avoid being violent. At the same time, you should reduce the intake of irritating foods, such as alcohol and spicy foods, to prevent aggravating congestion of the lesions. |
