How to reduce enlarged testicles?

The testicles are the core part of the male reproductive organs. They play a very important role. They can not only secrete male hormones, but also produce a large number of sperm, so that men can achieve their goal of reproducing offspring. The testicles are in the scrotum and are protected by the scrotal skin, but they are very fragile and can easily become enlarged due to diseases. Let's take a look at how to reduce enlarged testicles.

Testicular swelling is a disease in which the lesion tissue is the testicles and the cause is bacterial infection of varicocele. Generally speaking, the disease is mostly caused by inflammation and is mostly accompanied by pain.

There are many clinical causes of testicular enlargement. Common treatments are as follows:

1. Scrotal hematoma caused by trauma. Trauma can cause rupture and bleeding of the testicular tunica albuginea, leading to scrotal hematoma. If there is no indication for surgery but the hematoma is obvious, it is necessary to use an 8-shaped bandage to apply pressure to stop bleeding, strengthen anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, analgesic, and symptomatic treatment. After there is no active bleeding, the scrotum can be raised, local hot compresses can be applied, and diosmin tablets or Maizhiling tablets can be taken orally to reduce swelling and promote the spontaneous absorption of hematoma.

2. Acute epididymal and testicular inflammation. It is often caused by bacterial, viral and other pathogenic infections, which can cause epididymal and testicular enlargement. Active infusion of anti-infection or anti-viral treatment is required, and hormones are used appropriately to fight inflammation and reduce swelling. Lifting the scrotum can appropriately relieve pain.

3. Hydrocele of the testis. When the tunica vaginalis outside the testis is stimulated by inflammation or other factors, and the secretion of fluid exceeds the absorption; or when there is a communication tube in the tunica vaginalis that is connected to the abdominal cavity, hydrocele of the testis may occur, leading to testicular enlargement. If the hydrocele is caused by inflammation and the amount is small, it can be eliminated through anti-inflammatory treatment; if the amount of hydrocele is large, surgical treatment is required, and the surgical method is mostly "testicular tunica vaginalis flip or fold surgery". Children often need to ligate the communication tube of the tunica vaginalis at the same time.

4. Testicular tumor. When the testicles become painlessly enlarged and hard, you should be alert to the possibility of testicular tumor. Testicular enhanced CT and testicular tumor marker examination are required for further diagnosis. Surgery is the first choice for the treatment of testicular tumor.
