Why is it normal for men to urinate frequently during the day but at night?

Men must learn to protect their private parts in life. Although men's private parts are less likely to have problems than women's, there are always exceptions. For example, some men do not have frequent urination and urgency when they are working during the day, but when they get home at night, the symptoms of frequent urination and urgency will become more obvious. What is going on?

Normally, normal men urinate 4 to 6 times during the day and 0 to 2 times at night. If the number of urination at night exceeds 2 times, it can be considered as frequent urination at night. The following situations should be considered for frequent urination at night: "Early signs" of prostate hyperplasia "Early signs" of prostate hyperplasia

1. Frequent urination: Frequent urination in men is the most typical "early signal" of prostate hyperplasia. The specific manifestation is that men urinate more frequently than usual, whether during the day or at night, and the urination interval is short, and they always feel like urinating.

2. Progressive dysuria: The main manifestations are slow urination, labored urination, weak ejaculation, thin urine stream, dribbling urine, segmented urination and incomplete urination.

3. Urinary incontinence: Urine flows out uncontrollably during sleep at night. In severe cases, this phenomenon may also occur during the day.

4. Acute urinary retention: Acute urinary retention can occur when the glands and bladder neck become congested and edematous due to cold, drinking, fatigue, etc. The patient's bladder is extremely swollen, painful, and has frequent urination, restlessness, and difficulty falling asleep.

5. Hematuria: The amount of bleeding varies and is mostly intermittent. Occasionally, there is heavy bleeding, with blood clots filling the bladder, which requires emergency treatment.

6. Symptoms of renal insufficiency: In the late stage, long-term urinary tract obstruction leads to decreased kidney function, manifested as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and anemia.

If a man has frequent urination at night, he should go to a regular hospital for a clear diagnosis to avoid delaying the best time to treat the symptoms!
