How to judge whether the seminal vesicle is full

How to judge whether the seminal vesicle is full

The seminal vesicle is an organ that produces sperm together with the epididymis, prostate, bulbourethral gland and other organs, and the seminal vesicle accounts for a very large proportion, as much as 60%. The seminal vesicle can also be full, and when it is full, it may bring a bad effect to the human body, such as spermatorrhea, spontaneous semen overflow, etc. If this happens, it is necessary to consider whether the seminal vesicle is full. So how to judge whether the seminal vesicle is full?

Under normal circumstances, if you do not ejaculate for 2-3 weeks, the penis will be full, and semen will overflow and ejaculate. It is normal for the erect penis to be more than 8 cm long.

Diseases that may occur in the seminal vesicles:

1. Absence of seminal vesicle.

Generally, congenital absence of the spermatic vesicle does not occur alone, and is often combined with absence of the vas deferens or ectopic opening of the vas deferens. Bilateral absence of the spermatic vesicles is infertile, while unilateral absence of the spermatic vesicles has complex and variable clinical manifestations that require detailed examination to be confirmed, but the possibility of infertility cannot be ruled out.

2. Seminal vesicle cyst.

Seminal vesicle cysts can cause infertility. Long-term chronic seminal vesicle cysts cause seminal vesicle atrophy, serious functional decline, and reduced fertility. Some patients also have chronic epididymitis, which affects sperm output. Dysuria is caused by the cyst pressing the bladder neck and posterior urethra. The degree of dysuria is related to the size and location of the cyst. According to domestic reports, 9.1% of dysuria caused by seminal vesicle cysts and 6.8% of infertility.

3. Seminal vesiculitis

Seminal vesiculitis can easily cause male infertility, which is mainly manifested in the following aspects:

Changes in composition: Semen should contain a certain amount of nutrients to nourish sperm and help sperm activity, and also contains trace amounts of acidic substances such as lactic acid. Once the seminal vesicles become inflamed, bacteria will be mixed in the semen, and lactic acid will increase the toxins and metabolites of bacteria that are also excreted in the semen. Bacteria will devour the nutrients in the semen and snatch oxygen, which will reduce fertility.

Reduced pH: Normal serum pH is 7.2-8.9, and sperm can move freely in this environment. In case of seminal vesiculitis, acidic substances will increase and cause sperm abortion.

Increased viscosity: When suffering from seminal vesiculitis, there are bacteria, a large number of white blood cells, and even pus in the semen. The viscosity will increase suddenly, making it difficult for the semen to liquefy and the sperm motility rate to decrease, which is related to the decrease of liquefaction enzyme.

Abnormal quantity: In case of seminal vesiculitis, the secretion of seminal plasma is generally reduced, which is not conducive to the survival of sperm. The amount of seminal plasma sometimes increases, which reduces the number of sperm per unit volume, causing sperm dilution and affecting fertility.
