Based on the history of sexual contact before the onset of the disease, especially the history of unclean sexual intercourse, the typical clinical manifestations and course, the development of soft and flat papules, pustules, ulcers, unilateral purulent lymphadenitis after a short latent period, the detection of Haemophilus ducreyi by direct microscopy and culture, and the detection of Haemophilus ducreyi DNA by PCR, a diagnosis can be made.

2. Superficial penile ulcer: Penile ulcer is a localized defect and erosion of the penile skin surface tissue, and its surface is often covered with pus, necrotic tissue or scab.

Treatment: Treat the underlying disease causing the glans itching.

Clean the area every day or disinfect with iodine; or use Jie'eryin to clean and apply fluoride cream locally to relieve discomfort.

For bacterial infection, clean the area with 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution and apply antibiotic ointment, commonly used is compound ketoconazole ointment. Take antibiotics at the same time.
