Does prostatitis manifest as urinary symptoms?

Prostatitis is a common men's disease. When prostatitis occurs, it often manifests as symptoms of the urinary system, such as changes in urination, which can cause frequent urination, painful urination, and urgent urination. In addition, the color of urine will also change. If the symptoms are more serious, hematuria may occur, causing bloating and pain in patients, and causing sexual dysfunction such as impotence and premature ejaculation.

1. Changes in urination

At the beginning, there is discomfort when urinating, a feeling of incomplete urination, or a burning sensation, frequent urination, urgency, pain and itching when urinating. A small number of patients find that there is secretion sticking to the external opening of the urethra in the early morning, and the residual urine after urination soaks the clothes and pants.

2. Abnormal urine color

Most cases of urine darken, may become cloudy, white, or may contain hematuria. Patients often have prostatic discharge, which often occurs at the end of urination or when straining during bowel movements, with white discharge from the urethra.

3. Pain

It is often bloating and cramping, radiating to the glans penis and perineum, and can cause pain in the lumbar sacral region, hip, perineum, suprapubic region and abdomen, and sometimes radiating to the testicles and groin.

4. Sexual dysfunction

Symptoms include decreased libido, impotence, premature ejaculation, nocturnal emissions, infertility, etc.

5. Neurasthenia

Symptoms include excessive dreaming, anxiety, restlessness, etc. It may even affect study and work, which is very annoying.

6. Rectal examination of uneven hardness and softness of the prostate

There is mild tenderness. Massage the prostate fluid and make a smear, and you can see more than 10 white blood cells or piles of white blood cells per high-power field of view, and less lecithin.

The above are some possible symptoms of chronic prostatitis, but these symptoms may also be similar to some other male diseases. Our male friends should not take this as a criterion. If they find themselves in this situation, they will arbitrarily think that they have chronic prostatitis and then go to the hospital for consultation and treatment. The above introduction is only for your reference. For a specific diagnosis, you still need to go to a professional hospital for a specific examination and then get the results.
