3. Immunotherapy

Straus et al. used gD-2 vaccine vaccination, which is recombinant HSV-2 glycoprotein D expressed in CHO cells, to induce antigen-specific neutralizing antibodies equivalent to or exceeding the level produced by GH patients, 100 μg/time, repeated once after 2 months. 4. Local therapy

5. Symptomatic treatment

If secondary bacterial infection occurs, antibiotics should be used as appropriate, and analgesics can be given if the pain is severe.

Since most sexual partners are likely already infected with HSV, they should also be tested and, if necessary, treated.
