Orchitis is a common men's disease. Men with orchitis will experience lower abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, testicular ptosis, high fever, and most of them have symptoms of prolapse. Orchitis should be treated in time, especially dietary therapy is very effective, and good hygiene care should be maintained.

1. Symptoms of orchitis

In the acute phase, there is high fever, chills, testicular pain radiating to the groin, and nausea and vomiting.

Orchitis usually occurs 3-4 days after the onset of mumps. The high fever can reach 40℃ and is often accompanied by prostration, red and swollen scrotum, enlarged testicles, hydrocele, and obvious tenderness. If it is mumps, enlarged parotid glands may also be found.

2. Diet therapy for orchitis

1. Stir-fried wormwood with wolfberry seedlings: appropriate amounts of wormwood, wolfberry seedlings, and seasonings. Wash the wormwood and wolfberry seedlings, cut them into sections, heat an appropriate amount of vegetable oil in a pot, sauté scallions and ginger until fragrant, then add the wormwood and wolfberry seedlings, stir-fry until cooked, add salt, MSG and other seasonings, and serve. Take 2 doses daily.

2. Houttuynia cordata mixed with radish: Houttuynia cordata, radish, and seasonings in appropriate amounts. Wash and dry the houttuynia cordata and radish, cut into sections; wash and shred the ginger; wash and diced the garlic; wash and diced the green onion. Put the houttuynia cordata and radish in a plate, add the shredded ginger, garlic, sesame oil, vinegar, soy sauce, and chicken essence in appropriate amounts, mix well, and serve. Take 2 doses daily.

3. Chrysanthemum and eggplant soup: 40g chrysanthemum, appropriate amount of eggplant and seasoning. Boil chrysanthemum with water for about 30 minutes, remove the residue and take the juice. Wash the eggplant, cut it into oblique slices, put it into the heated vegetarian oil pan and stir-fry until it is almost cooked, add green onion, ginger, starch and chrysanthemum juice, stir-fry for a while, add some sesame oil, and take 1 dose per day.

4. Snow lotus and lean meat soup: 10g snow lotus, 100g lean pork, and appropriate seasoning. Wash the snow lotus and lean meat, cut them into pieces, put them into the pot, add appropriate amount of water and boil them, then add the snow lotus, cook until the lean meat is cooked, add chopped green onion, salt, MSG, pork fat, minced ginger, pepper and other appropriate seasonings, and take 1 dose per day.

5. Cactus flower and lean meat soup Ingredients: 15g cactus flower, 100g lean pork, seasoning as needed. Method: Wash the cactus flower and chop it into small pieces; wash the lean pork and slice it, put it into a pot, add an appropriate amount of water and boil it, add green onion, ginger, pepper, garlic, etc., cook until the pork is cooked, add cactus flower, salt, MSG, etc., boil it for one or two more times and then take it. Usage: 1 dose per day.

6. Pumpkin Blossom Meatball Soup Ingredients: 5 pumpkin blossoms, 50g lean pork, and appropriate seasonings. Method: Rinse the pumpkin blossoms with clean water and drain; remove the heads and whiskers of the green onions, wash and mince; add seasonings and chopped green onions to the meat paste and mix well, make meatballs, put them into boiling water and boil, wait for the meatballs to float to the surface, put the pumpkin blossoms in, continue to boil twice, add seasonings, and boil for one or two more times. Usage: 1 dose per day.

7. Snow lotus and lean meat soup Ingredients: 10g snow lotus, 100g lean pork, appropriate seasoning. Method: Wash the snow lotus; wash the lean meat, cut it into pieces, put it in a pot, add appropriate amount of water to boil, then add the snow lotus, cook until the lean meat is cooked, add chopped green onion, salt, MSG, pork fat, minced ginger, pepper and other appropriate seasonings to eat. Usage: 1 dose per day.
