The symptoms of testicular folliculitis are shocking!

After testicular folliculitis occurs at night, the male testicles will show corresponding symptoms. In the early stage, rice-sized hair follicles will appear. As the disease progresses, these hair follicles will turn into pus-filled bags, accompanied by pain and itching.

1. Folliculitis is often scattered at the beginning, with the shape of rice grains, bright red or dark red follicular papules, with hair in the center and inflammatory erythema around them, which then quickly turn into pustules, but they do not merge with each other. When the pustules rupture or the hair in them is pulled out, a small amount of pus and plasma can be discharged, but no scars will be left after the local inflammation gradually subsides.

2. Folliculitis is more common on the head, but it can also affect other hairy parts. Because the location of folliculitis is different, the manifestations are also different. For example, if it occurs on the head, after recovery, hair loss spots ranging from rice grains to fingernail sizes may appear, and the affected area will not grow hair again. This is usually called alopecia folliculitis.

3. Some folliculitis are arranged in clusters, and their deep parts are interconnected and fused into pieces, which is called perforating folliculitis. If folliculitis occurs in the occipital region, due to its special location, it often proliferates and presents papillary nodules, which is called papillary folliculitis or occipital nodular folliculitis.

What to do with testicular folliculitis

1. Immunotherapy

Patients with chronic recurrent attacks can be injected with leukoplakia vaccine, subcutaneously once a week, with the initial dose of 0.5 ml, the second dose of 1 ml, the third dose of 1.5 ml, and each subsequent dose of 2 ml. Generally, there are no adverse reactions after injection. If there is fever or other discomfort, do not increase the dose. If necessary, reduce the dose or stop using.

2. Local therapy

When skin lesions occur, avoid washing with water and scratching. You can apply antiseptic and anti-itching drugs such as lotion. Patients with exudate can apply 0.1% rivanol solution wet compress 3 to 4 times a day for 20 minutes each time. After the inflammation is relieved, 2% chloramphenicol emulsion, 0.5% neomycin ointment and 3% iodine tincture can be applied externally.
