Triggering prostatitis! Six symptoms of prostate congestion

Prostate congestion is not a disease, but a clinical phenomenon. Generally speaking, when men have frequent sexual intercourse or suddenly stop, or drink a lot of alcohol, the prostate is prone to congestion. So the question is, what are the symptoms of prostate congestion?

Acute prostatitis

The onset is acute, with symptoms of systemic infection or purulent blood disease, high fever, increased white blood cell count, frequent urination, urgency, pain, urethral pain, perineal and suprapubicular pain, rectal distension, difficulty in defecation, and occasionally urination difficulty or even urine retention due to edema and spasm of the bladder neck.

Chronic prostatitis

Symptoms vary greatly from patient to patient. Laboratory test results may not be completely consistent with the patient's self-perceived symptoms. Some patients have obvious symptoms, but prostate palpation and prostate fluid examination may show no special findings or slight changes. Other patients have a large number of pus cells in their prostate fluid and a hardened prostate, but may have no symptoms at all. Therefore, the severity of symptoms may also be related to the patient's mental factors. Common symptoms include:

pain

There may be a burning sensation or crawling sensation in the posterior urethra, and pain in the perineum and anus may radiate to the lumbar sacral region, groin, suprapubic area, penis, testicles, etc., and occasionally to the abdomen.

Urinary tract symptoms

The inflammation affects the urethra, and the patient may have mild urinary frequency, urgency, and pain when urinating. Some patients may even have hematuria. Mucus or purulent secretions may be discharged from the urethra before urination in the early morning or during defecation.

Sexual dysfunction

There may be decreased libido, impotence, premature ejaculation, painful ejaculation, increased frequency of nocturnal emission, etc. Some patients may have hematospermia or reduced sperm motility due to vas deferens inflammation, leading to infertility.

Neurasthenia symptoms

Because patients lack a correct understanding of the disease or have not been cured for a long time, they may experience depression, fatigue, insomnia, etc.
