In addition to eating some kidney-tonifying foods, Chinese medicine experts believe that they should massage three parts more often. This will have a stronger kidney-tonifying effect than taking tonic medicine.

Waist massage exercises

There are two ways to do waist massage exercises.

1. Rub your palms together until they are warm, then place them on your waist, palms facing the skin, and massage your waist up and down until you feel warm. You can do this once in the morning and once in the evening, about 200 times each time. This exercise can nourish the kidneys and absorb qi.

2. Make fists with both hands, stretch your arms back and use the protruding parts of the palmar joints of both thumbs to massage the waist naturally, do circular rotation massage inwards, gradually apply force until you feel soreness and swelling, continue to massage for about 10 minutes, once in the morning, noon and evening. The waist is the home of the kidneys, and regular waist massage can prevent and treat chronic muscle fatigue, back pain and other symptoms caused by kidney deficiency in middle-aged and elderly people.

Foot massage

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the Yongquan acupoint leads directly to the kidney meridian, and the foot-center acupoint method is the place where turbid qi descends. Regular massage of the Yongquan acupoint can replenish essence and kidney, strengthen physical health, prevent premature aging, soothe the liver and improve eyesight, promote sleep, and has a certain effect on dizziness, insomnia, tinnitus, hemoptysis, nasal congestion, headache, etc. caused by kidney deficiency. The method of foot massage is: soak your feet in warm water before going to bed every day, and then rub your hands together to warm them up, then use the left palm to massage the right foot, and the right palm to massage the left foot, more than 100 times each time, and rub both feet to warm them up. This method has the effect of strengthening the kidney, nourishing yin and reducing fire, and is very effective for the common deficiency-heat syndrome in middle-aged and elderly people.

Ear massage

There are several specific methods of molars:

Pull the tragus: Place the index fingers of both hands on the inner side of the tragus, and then use the index fingers and thumbs to pull the tragus from the inside to the outside, from light to heavy, and the pulling force should be limited to not feeling pain, 3 to 5 minutes each time. This method can also cure headaches, dizziness, neurasthenia, tinnitus and other diseases.

Brush the outer ear: Use both hands to brush the ear from back to front, you will hear a "squeaking" sound. Do this 20 times each time, several times a day. As long as you persist for a long time, you will be able to strengthen your kidneys and keep fit.

Pulling both ears: straighten the two index fingers, insert them into the two ear holes respectively, and rotate them 180 degrees. After three reciprocating movements, pull them out immediately, and you will hear a "bang bang" sound in the ears. Generally, pull 3 to 6 times. This method can improve hearing sensitivity and has the effect of strengthening the brain.

Ming Tian Gu: Place both palms tightly on the ears, hold the ear lids tightly with the palms, and use the thumb and little finger to fix them. Use the other three fingers together or alternately to knock on the occipital bone at the back of the head, namely the Nao Hou, Feng Fu, and Du Men points. The ears will make a "dong dong" sound, like the sound of beating a drum. This method has the effect of refreshing the mind, calming the dizziness and improving hearing. It can not only be used as a daily health care method, but also has a good therapeutic effect on common symptoms such as tinnitus, dizziness, insomnia, headache, neurasthenia, etc. in the middle-aged and elderly.
