Itchy penis skin

However, if the glans penis or its skin is injured by squeezing, itching, intense masturbation, sexual intercourse, and oral sex, it may be conducive to pathogenic pathogens and conditional pathogens to infect penile tissues and cause penile inflammatory reactions.

Reduced body resistance

The occurrence of certain infections of the penis is often related to factors such as colds, diabetes, overwork, dysbacteriosis, tumors or the use of immunosuppressants, which lead to a decrease in the body's resistance or immune ability. For example, colds or overwork can cause the body's resistance to decrease, which can often cause the latent infection of herpes simplex virus (HSV) to activate and form recurrent infections.

Patients with diabetes, tumors, and those treated with immunosuppressants are often susceptible to penile tissue infections caused by different species of Saccharomyces spp. due to reduced immunity; irregular use and abuse of antimicrobial drugs cause urinary tract flora imbalance, which can lead to infection with certain drug-resistant pathogens and conditional pathogens and cause inflammatory reactions of the glans penis or glans phimitis.

The key point of differential diagnosis of penile inflammation is that the lesions in the former are limited to the edge of the glans, the number of lesions is large, they are pearly white, the surface is smooth, the lesions do not increase with the extension of the disease course, and the acetic acid test is negative; while the lesions in the latter are not limited to the edge of the glans, they are mostly single and scattered, the lesions are large, the surface is not smooth, and they are mostly cauliflower-shaped. They gradually increase with the extension of the disease course, the acetic acid test is positive, and the tissue pathological examination shows concave cells.
