【Medicinal Materials】① Salt Aconite, cone-shaped, about 5-8 cm long, 3-4 cm in diameter. Wide at the top, with a sunken bud scar in the center, plump upper body, with tumor-like raised branches around, commonly known as "nail horns", gray-black surface, covered with salt frost. Heavy, gray-brown cross section, with irregular tendons or small gaps in the center, filled with salt frost. Odorless, salty and spicy. Large, firm, and covered with salt frost on the surface are preferred. ② Black Slices, also known as Black Aconite (Jian Yao Ji Zhong Fang). Irregular longitudinal slices, wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, slightly raised around, 2.5-4 cm long, 1.5-2.5 cm wide, and about 5 mm thick. The skin is dark brown, the inside is dark yellow and translucent, oily and shiny, and vertical veins can be seen. It is hard and brittle, and the broken surface is horny. It is odorless and tastes light. The best ones are those with uniform slices and oily and shiny surfaces. ③ Baifu Pian, also known as Mingfu Pian and Xiong Pian. The shape is the same as Heishun Pian, but the whole body is yellow-white and translucent, and the slices are thinner, about 3 mm thick. The smell is the same as Heishun Pian. Effects and functions of Aconite

It can restore Yang and rescue the adverse condition, replenish fire and assist Yang, dispel cold and remove dampness. It can treat excessive Yin and suppress Yang, profuse sweating and loss of Yang, vomiting and diarrhea, cold pain in the heart and abdomen, spleen diarrhea and cold dysentery, beriberi and edema, slow shock in children, wind-cold and dampness arthritis, paralysis and spasticity, impotence, cold yin in the uterus, carbuncle, fistula and all diseases caused by deep cold and chronic cold. (1) It can restore Yang and rescue the adverse condition: It has a strong effect of restoring Yang. It is used for weakness and loss of consciousness caused by fear of cold, cold limbs, weak pulse and impotence. It is often used with ginseng, or dried ginger and licorice. (2) It can replenish Yang: Aconite is pungent and hot. Its nature is mobile and can pass through the twelve meridians. Therefore, it can be used for all symptoms of insufficient Yang, especially replenishing kidney Yang. It is often used with cinnamon bark to replenish kidney Yang. (3) Dispel cold and relieve pain: This product is very hot and has strong cold-dispelling properties, so it can treat stomach and abdominal pain and diarrhea caused by cold evil invading the body, as well as pain caused by cold and dampness blocking the circulation.
