Is a fracture a dislocation of bones? What is the difference between the two?

Many people know about fractures, and some have even experienced them, so they are relatively clear about them. However, few people know about bone dislocation. So what is the difference between fractures and bone dislocation? What are the causes of each?

Difference

First of all, we should know that fracture and bone dislocation are two completely different concepts. The focus of fracture refers to a disease in which the bone is partially or completely broken due to trauma or pathology. Bone dislocation is different from fracture. Bone dislocation is a deviation in the bite at the bone joint. The bone is not broken. The focus of bone dislocation is on the bone. So we need to have a correct understanding of the concepts of the two, and then we can find out the reasons. In general, these two possibilities are unexpected situations that we are very likely to encounter if we are not careful.

The causes of these two accidents

1. First of all, the occurrence of bone dislocation accidents is generally caused by excessive joint activity. Excessive joint activity or sudden violent movement of joints after a long period of inactivity will cause the ligaments that connect the joints to the adjacent bones to tear, which will cause the bones at the joints to shift, resulting in sprains at the joints.

2. Secondly, it is possible that the fracture or bone dislocation is caused by excessive force or sudden impact. Because the bones in the human body are arranged in a relatively regular pattern, and the joints are connected by ligaments, when unexpected situations occur in the outside world, sudden excessive force or impact by other forces may cause the joint ligaments or bones in the body to be unable to withstand the pressure from the outside world, resulting in joint dislocation, fractures, etc.

3. Another reason is that due to long-term inactivity, the bones and joints are in a solidified state for a long time. In this state, the bones and joints are very fragile. At this time, a small regular movement may cause joint dislocation, or a slight external impact may cause fracture. Therefore, in this case, it is very important to strengthen proper physical exercise.

Note: Please note that bone dislocation and fracture are two different concepts, but these two are also the most likely to occur in accidental situations, so we must protect ourselves as much as possible in external activities, and at the same time strengthen physical exercise to strengthen our bones.
