What are the causes of UV allergy?

What are the causes of UV allergy?

Allergy is a reaction of the human body to resist foreign substances. Depending on each person's physical condition, many people are allergic to various things. So what causes ultraviolet allergy in life?

1. Food factors

Foods that can cause UV allergy: Celery, lettuce, rapeseed, spinach, amaranth, Chinese cabbage, astragalus, gray cabbage, mustard greens, watercress, horsetail, safflower, figs, sheep's foot root, lemon, white radish, coriander, leek, etc. all contain photosensitive substances, etc., and they are all photosensitive plants. Excessive consumption of these vegetables and then exposure to the sun will cause symptoms of UV allergy.

2. External factors

1. Cosmetics: inferior, spoiled cosmetics, highly irritating cosmetics and certain drug-containing cosmetics. The most typical cosmetic allergy is fragrance allergy, and cosmetics containing alcohol such as astringent water will also cause certain irritation to the skin. Others such as biochemical preservatives, fruit acids, etc. will cause different irritations to the skin.

2. Chemical products: mosquito coils, plastics, rubber, dyes, paints, fragrances, alcohol, etc. Some people are even allergic to chemical fiber clothing. Some hair dyes, cold perms, shampoos, and hair care products can easily cause skin allergies in these people, and even cause corneal inflammation.

3. Drugs: such as contraceptive drugs, penicillin, sulfonamide drugs, etc., may cause skin allergies.

4. Food: Seafood, mango, and nuts are common foods that can cause allergies. Fish, shrimp, milk, and fruits can also cause allergies.

5. Pollen: In the pollen transmission season, tiny pollen particles will be scattered in the air during the transmission process and fly everywhere with the flow of air. Some of them will be inhaled by people and absorbed by the skin.

6. Dust: Dust allergy is an allergic reaction to microorganisms living in dust and is the most common allergy. The allergens of dust allergy include cotton, fur and various fibers, animal fur, etc.

7. Age: Aging is an important reason for skin sensitivity. Some people's skin was not sensitive a few years ago, but has become sensitive in recent years. This is because there is a layer of weakly acidic sebum membrane on the surface of young and healthy skin to protect moisture and protect the skin from external damage. However, with the increase of age, this layer of sebum membrane is not as healthy as before, so that some sensitive substances can easily invade the skin.

8. Pets: Sensitive skin can easily develop allergies due to the fur of domestic pets. The main reason for this kind of pet allergy is the protein secreted by the oil glands on the bodies of cats and dogs. When pets lick their fur, these proteins are attached to the fur, and then scattered into the air and attached to human skin.

9. Seasonal change: Due to various environmental factors, allergens such as bacterial spores and pollen dispersed in the air will release a large amount of histamine, a compound that is almost present in all tissues of the human body, causing facial skin allergies.

10. Temperature changes: The temperature fluctuates, causing redness and hotness on the face of sensitive people.

11. Ultraviolet rays: Ultraviolet rays can cause facial skin allergies.

12. Other factors: Animal hair, metal, and clothing are often allergens for sensitive skin. Some people are allergic to cold, hot air, and ultraviolet rays.
