However, it should be pointed out that amaranth has a slippery nature, and it should not be eaten in early pregnancy. "Southern Yunnan Materia Medica" says that it can clear the blood vessels and remove blood stasis. "Compendium of Materia Medica Yanyi Buyi" also points out: "Amaranth, bleeding and entering the blood, and good at moving." This shows that it is not advisable to eat it in the early stages of pregnancy, especially for those who have a tendency to miscarriage or a history of habitual miscarriage.

5. Do not cook the amaranth for too long to prevent the loss of nutrients in the dish. Amaranth cannot be stored for a long time, so it is best to eat it as soon as possible. For short-term storage, wrap it with plastic wrap or put it in a plastic bag and refrigerate it.
